Average food- overpriced.

We found this place by accident and decided to try it out as we are big fans of Greek food. We had the Meze for two people, mousakka and village salad. The Meze was nice but wasn't expecting octopus, sardines and king prawns, which put me off as I don't eat sea food. The mousakka was nice but... read more

we ordered greek salad and taramasalata for starters: the salad was fine... nothing special.. the taramasalata was a sticky pink paste with no flavour whatsoever. So sticky it could have been glue. For main course we ordered a chicken souvlaki and a chicken fillet. The chicken was very tough, it was not fresh. My souvlaki came in the shape of... More

My friends and I regularly frequent this seafront restaurant. The staff are delightful and the good is delicious. Everything is clearly presented in the menus and nothin is too much trouble. Great food, great price and always a great time.

We had a selection of starters and the courgette balls and meat balls were amazing and obviously freshly made. Very good stifado and giovetsi. Very quiet for a Saturday which was a shame but the food was very good and authentic.

Positives - friendly waitress, quick service of meal, warm venue on a freezing night and very clean inside. Negatives - cold plates, very average stifado with poor seasoning served with under-cooked rice. For £10.90 I expect a lot more. Standard Greek menu with no specials offered on the night and I was the only diner between 19.30-20.00. Cannot believe they... More

This place has no atmosphere and the food was very poor quality and nothing like a traditional Greek Taverna as claimed. There was no bread served or offered even with the Greek salad starters, the souvlakis were large portions but quite tasteless, and the white wine was warm. It is expensive for what you get even by Brighton standards and... More

I had dinner in Steki's when I was in Brighton for a night early in December. It was my first ever meal in a Greek restaurant, and it was excellent. I had calamari to start (£6.90) and then had the day's special for my main course, lamb kleftiko, which was served with Greek potatoes, tomato, lettuce and chard (£16.00). With... More

Food was fantastic, you could tell it was authentic Greek! Fresh produce and cooked to perfection. The lady was very helpful with recommendation of food and wine and so friendly. If I ever come back to brighton, I'll be back here!!

Had a great meal here recently. Staff were friendly despite my friend being worse for wear and were eager to please. Food was lovely. Restaurant was empty being a wet Monday evening and therefore perhaps not as great an atmosphere had it been full. Overall will definitely return and recommend to friends.
