Good value meal

We visited Steki with friends. The restaurant is not in the core centre of Brighton but it is worth walking just a few minutes, and it is very close to the seaside. We ordered a set menu, which came at a price of around 13 pounds per person - offering a starter, main dish, dessert and a glass of... read more

Visited Steki's on a Saturday evening with my Mum and Sister. We got there around 8ish and only a few tables were taken. For some reason we weren't given menus straight away and then had to wait for around 15 minutes before our orders were taken. After our orders had been taken the food was fairly quick to arrive. The... More

My wife and I chose to dine here on Saturday, after looking at the decent reviews on trip advisor, but it was not worthy of a good rating unfortunately. The menu looked good, a mix of Greek and Cypriot food, but some key dishes weren't prepared properly and most dishes were very bland: The prawn saganaki had good prawns, but... More

We go in this restaurant since more than 3 years and the overall experience is nice ... because the food is good, sometimes is amazingly tasteful, sometimes is just OK, but most part of the time The food is really enjoyable. We can't say the same about the service, in more than 3 years we have seen more than 20... More

We've been three times to this restaurant - over a four year period. We return here every time we come back to Brighton. Their fresh pitta breads and yoghurt/mint dip, the barbequed meat with greek salad and french fries. All lovely. I can't understand why people aren't queuing up outside as this is a true hidden gem, right on the... More

We had just returned from Greece and thought it would be nice to visit a Brighton Greek Taverna. We had been told it was good but we obviously didn't pick a good night. There was no-one else in the restaurant, so the atmosphere was not good. Starter of dips was just okay but the main meals were terrible. My Moussaka... More

Greek cuisine is one of my favorite and we went to that place after one of our friends from Brighton advised it. Staff is very nice and welcomed us in friendly way. We ordered to glasses of red wine and they brought us a pot which had more wine than we ordered. We ordered starter which included 3 dips, one... More

Ignored reviews on trip advisor for this one, after walking round Brighton for an hour trying to find somewhere decent. Decided to give this a go as I've walked passed it several times. Greek Salad to start which was so tasteless the worst tomatoes you could get and the portion was ridiculous as you can see in photo this was... More
