Fantastic meal!

My husband and I were visiting for the weekend and I had booked dinner at Jamie's as a surprise treat. I have to say, we were not disappointed! The restaurant was very busy and clearly very popular with groups, couples and families! The staff were friendly and the service was very good. Our meals... read more

We had lunch here with our American friends who had not been to a Jamies before. They were all absolutely blown away by the quality of the food and the really excellent service. This was our first visit to this particular Jamies, but I can't express how really excellent everything was. I had forgotten my gold card, but they still... More

As a family we regularly visit different Jamie's in various cities around the UK and we normally enjoy the experience, once again we found the food but to be good but not great considering the prices, but what we found puzzling are the prices for the drinks. Amongst several drinks my cousin ordered a couple of glasses or wine and... More

I do not understand why Jamie's in Brighton doesn't get rated higher on Trip Advisor. We went for a bite yesterday, had some lovely wines and beers and chose the large sharing platter. The presentation of the platter was perfect and each and every ingredient carefully selected which ended up giving us a fabulous taste-fest!!! Off to a show today... More

A free bottle of prosecco as it was my birthday, yes please! Could not fault the service or the food, it was fantastic. We had a bread basket starter, prawn linguine and the fish of the day special which was mackerel. We dined at 6pm and the place was busy and had a good atmosphere, as usual.

I can't fault my experience here not at all. Friendly, helpful staff. Fast service. Great looking restaurant. However, I wasn't overly blown away by the food. I must be lucky to know some very talented cooks because it was just like something I would have been served by my Mum. It was still a lovely meal none-the-less but nothing more... More

My partner took me for my birthday, I have a bad back and was seated in a very uncomfortable seat. The staff were more than happy to oblige moving me even though they were very busy. The food was well presented, enjoyable, something a bit different. I can definitely recommend a visit.

Too big and corporate to be a good dining experience. Admittedly we got there late-ish on a Friday night without a booking and were fitted in after a 20 minute wait, so a plus there. But with hindsight I kind of wished they hadn't. Our waitress was lovely, but struggling to cope with the big hen party on the table... More
