Jamie's menus never fail to impress!

The main menu and specials were all desirable! I went with the Lamb and Ricotta Ravioli. A small portion and my side of chips helped fill me up. The Lemon Cheesecake was divine!!!!! The waiters attitude could have been a bit better. He didn't seem as though he wanted to be there and was a little... read more

Took my partner here for his Birthday on a Saturday evening. Booked the table well in advance. Attended to quickly, staff were all really friendly and polite. Presentation and décor in the restaurant was lovely. Food was amazing and great value for money :) Really impressed

Every time I go to Jamie's Restaurant I experience regret. The service is fine, the decor is fine, the food is absolutely fine, the ambience is indeed - fine. I always, however, wish I had gone to an independent restaurant and had something DIFFERENT. Jamie's 'do what they do well' but Brighton is blessed with numerous quirky, characterful restaurants -... Went on a busy half-term Friday lunchtime but was greeted nicely and seated quickly. Nice pasta (although portion was on the small side) and burger and chips were very good - especially the beautifully cooked chips which came with rosemary and garlic slices. My burger was a little pink, so I asked the waitress to get it cooked a little... More

The menu was ok for an Italian and they do have a specials board but the tables are very close to one another felt a little too cosy. The chairs weren't too comfortable either but think that's part of their plan to turn the table over quickly. I'm not keen on my main meal coming out as soon as my... More

visited this place on Wednesday 27th May. What can I say apart from - Jamie you need to do something about this place. We were seated by a waitress quite promptly - we had booked but they couldn't find our reservation - that didn't matter there was plenty of space. We were given the main menu - they do a... More

Just arriving to the restaurant the host wasn't there a chef receive me that's gave me a good impression anyway. Sitting at the table we ask our drinks and food. When the food arrived didn't like me the presentation was completely awful, I understand it's kind of rustic restaurant but the food was no according with my expectations. I'm very... More

We visited this restaurant on Sunday early evening, after having been a couple of times in the past. We feel the standard has dropped sadly, and although the food wasn't bad, it wasn't fantastic either. We didn't book but we were allocated a table very swiftly, in a fairly busy restaurant. To start with we ordered arancini and bruschetta. The... More

Visited here for a family supper and everyone was happy! A great selection of cocktails (not too pricy either) & a good selection of no -alcoholic ones too. We took advantage of the 3 courses for £20 menu (which we had booked off the trip advisor Ap) but wasn't offers until we asked for the special menus. Great choice and... More
