Very cramped

Great food, Great staff Found the seating arrangement very very cramped. Got up to use the loo and it was very tight to walk past my table and the table next to me. Will never be back here again, always travel further afield for a jamies

We ate at a Jamie's Italian restaurant twice before and never had a bad experience. The food and the staff were great...But the experience wasn't similar with this one. It's true, the previous times we ordered steaks and this time we ordered a burger and pasta...maybe this was the difference. My pasta (carbonara) was a weird recipe with lemon juice... More

Overcooked dry fish accompanied by a potato salad which was hardly a culinary challenge. Orange cake quite good but hard chewy meringue in the Pavlova. If this is a top chefs restaurant frankly I can do better! Have wanted to eat at Jamie's for a while but unlikely to do so again, if this is the best they can do.... More

Long wait for food, then when the food came it was like Jamie's school dinners, literally, cold food, tasteless, steak overdone and chewy. One of the party had to wait 10 minutes for food after everybody else. I Would not recommend to anybody, interior was shabby, wooden tables and dirty seats, like being sat in an American ranch diner in... More

Stayed in Brighton on Sunday evening and we decided to dine at Jamie Olivers...Very busy when we arrived. Were told it would be a thirty minute wait for a table, which was no problem. When we were seated it was very busy and my only criticism was the noise in the dining area....We had an excellent meal and the steak... More

Niceish food, but grossly overpriced for such small portions. And you make tea in a tea pot in good restaurants......not a tea bag and a cup of hot water. Abrupt and hostile waitress too. Won't be visiting any JO Places again.very disappointing

Tuesday lunch....probably accounts for lack of customers and therefore no ambiance. Very average fare.....pasta with carbonara sauce and spag Bol so so bland. Tiramisu was best part of the meal - besides the super friendly, smiling and efficient waitress. Overall, not a memorable occasion - just ordinary.

Really looked forward to this visit, booked in for 19:45 and was a bit busy so got in for 20:15 so not too bad but the bar seemed very overstretched. We were shown through to the table by an engaging member of staff, unfortunately we then served by someone who made us feel like a burden for being there and... More

The food is mostly fish but there are a few other dishes if you don't like fish. The service was good considering it was mid afternoon and it was packed due to many graduations that week. The staff were very friendly. It was expensive but the food is excellent so you don't mind paying the bill at the end. A... More

I have been here four or five times now with family, friends and as a couple. The food is always cooked well, fresh and flavourful and quality ingredients. There is definitely something for everyone on the menu. However, having been here a few times over the course of a couple of years, the menu becomes a little boring as it... More
