Really nice setting, fantastic staff, and fabulous food! Cannot fault - had the full breakfast which was brilliant, all fresh and local ingredients, also fish and chips was extremely nice!

One of many places to eat in the lanes ! Not very friendly, fairly good service, good food!, we had a sharing meat and cheese platter for 2 certainly worth ordering! Then we had Salmon Tagliatelle pasta again worth order, both dishes we presented very well and washed down with an unusual cherry beer and house wine.

My wife and I really enjoyed our lunch here on a very sunny and hot day in Brighton. Pavement table allowed us to enjoy a leisurely lunch whilst watching the world go by. The set menu at £10 each for 2 courses was excellent value. I had the minute steak cooked how I like it and my wife enjoyed a... More

Popped in for the set menu , my wife had the mozzarella salad to start and I had the Chicken liver pate . And we both had the fish and chips . The complete meal was very good and great value for £22 pounds .

We didn't pick the restaurant in advance so didn't know what to expect. A mix of french and Italian dishes. The food was not bad but not memorable, the presentation, like the decor, was pretty uninspired. The service was friendly but rather clumsy. Decent value for money. The place has a definite OAP feel to it.

Went there with some work colleagues on a Tuesday evening. Made very welcome by the waiter. Food and wine were first class. All desserts are home made & you can taste the difference.

Hate to say it but this is the worst food I've been served in a restuarant in Brighton. Me and lil' mama went on a Sunday and both had the 2 course for a tenner option plus drinks. Instead of going to the kitchen and cooking the food I think our very friendly and pleasant waiter went to Morrisons and... More

My fiancée and I went into this restaurant today on the off chance. We decided to have the £10 special. Very friendly service and a nice quiet atmosphere ( until four customers arrived and proceeded to play games on their mobile phones with the sound on!!) My fish cake starter was quite nice although I felt there was more potato... More

My husband, son and myself ate in this restaurant about 3 years ago and whilst visiting Brighton last week we came across it again whilst walking around. We looked at menu and decided to eat there again.Booked a table for the evening and asked for one near window which we got. Well what more can we say it was delightful.... More
