We visited this restaurant on a recommendation and weren't disappointed. Quirky little building and lovely simple, rustic decor (loved some of the paintings!!!). The menu is fascinating - not like anything I've seen before. Which in itself is appealing. I avoid gluten, and this limited the menu for me, but there was still a good choice. For first course I... A work colleague who lives in Brighton recommended this restaurant. I was a little concerned that my children wouldn't like much on the menu, but how wrong I was! The building, food and staff were all fantastic! One word of caution; the toilets are up two narrow flights of stairs, so beware if not fully mobile. Otherwise, perfect!

Warm atmosphere with lovely and attentive service from Anastasia. Food simple. wholesome, and well prepared and cooked. Very reasonably priced with good portions. Not too much but quite enough. A big plus was that small dogs are welcomed.

This is a nice restaurant, offers a good variety of food, all of which is well-presented and made using quality ingredients. For the money and portion-size, it's good value as well. We sat on the ground floor which is undoubtedly more atmospheric and intimate and is recommended if you're out as a couple, the upper floor is better for larger... More

Some lovely flavours, but disappointed as it did not live up to previous reviews. The vegetables were not fresh; the waitress gave a free desert which was nice.

Even though there was a large party on the first floor the service remained friendly, prompt and unrushed for the customers on the ground floor. The food was great as was the choice of wines. The Pomegranate is a small intimate restaurant and well worth a visit.

Lovely cosy little restaurant, food was lovely and service was very efficient. Would go again. Portion sizes are very good value for money.

It was a pleasure to dine at Pomegranate. Even though they had a large party upstairs, we were still made to feel very welcome and looked after. The glass of wine served was generous and the meal was the tastiest we have had since arriving in London four days ago. I had the lamb and my husband had the beef... More

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food not quite as good as it has been on previous visits, but still excellent value and more than acceptable
