Cheap n cheerful

We drove down with our dog to the beach for the day n was looking for a cosy place to sit down to have lunch. Didn't fancy a pub so thought we'd ask if the restaurant will let our dog in. We were surprised they did n let us sit in a corner area away from other diners. Food was... read more

We visited this Restraunt twice and both times it was rubbish the food was rubbish and huge portions the first time for five people cost us near on £70 and the second time for two people cost us £40 and the staff made us feel very unwelcome as we where English which I think is out of order as we... We went here with some vegan friends on their advice and they were well catered for. Started with vegetable spring rolls which were nice. For the main we had vegetable curry egg fried rice and crispy noodles. All cooked nicely. The curry was not great the sauce went quite runny after a while not a large amount of vegetables either... Went here with my fiancé and daughter on a day out in Brighton. We chose it based on the trip advisor reviews which are usually spot on! The portions were big but the food lacked flavour. Everything just seemed a bit 'watery' and bland. The toilet area wasn't the most hygienic either! The service was good but overall it was... More

I've been going to China China for a few years now. As a couple usually on a Saturday for a late lunch or with the whole family. Its not posh but that suits me fine I prefer good food good service and good prices to fancy restaurants. Its always a good sign when you go to a Chinese Restaurant which... More

My friend recommended the place so I decided to try it. Yes, portion was massive but tasteless. I had crispy shredded beef, not crispy and the noodles was too salty. We had a quarter of crispy duck but it was dry. The staff was lovely yet no-one actually checking if I'm enjoying the food although the staff can see I... More

Friendly service, lovely food with a massive range of choice. Good value for money but you have to pay by cash only, there is a sign on the window to let you know before-hand. We would definitely visit again when we are in the area. One little niggle is it would be nice to have tablecloths on the tables.

My favourite Chinese restaurant in Brighton. Excellent value for money and the food is gorgeous. It is quite basic inside and you can only pay with cash. The staff are very friendly and the service is fast and friendly and they do not add a service charge to the bill.

We originally found this restaurant on trip advisor last March and weren't disappointed. Revisited this December and the quality was still there. It is excellent value for money but be prepared to pay by cash only. It is not the most romantic setting and the big tv screens show Chinese films. Would visit again.
