Just stumbled upon some friends earlier today and decided to try the Sunday roasts. Picked the lamb shank which literally fell off the bone as it arrived. The roasties were crisp and the Yorkshire were lovely thick and not over cooked. Great value for 12 quid and lovely music and service. Perfect Sunday vibes for any roast dweller. Will be... More

A little out of the way close to the trendy Seven Dials area a pub that cares about its beer and specialises in a wide selection of bangers and mash six days a week, barbecues in the summer and great roasts on Sunday. I've been there alone, as a couple and with a large family group and it has always... More

Just sausage and mash heaven really! Any combo you like, good hearty pub food. Good value, big portions, good veggie options too. Started more of a bar snack menu, have not tried it but looks yummy too. Always a good atmosphere.

I am happy to say that I can now call this gem of a Pub my local. This is why I like it: No TVs showing sports. No friut machines. The best bangers and mash in town. No loud music. Its right next to my flat..boom. Enjoy.

Went for drinks on Friday night. Such a great buzz around. Tables inside and outside available. Great beer selection. The menu looks great, and there are board games to pick up. Lovely place to meet friends or even a first date game of Jenga. Love it, a new brighton fave!

I just love mash...and boy did this pub have mash!!! The texture and flavour was awesome! The bangers weren't bad either and the gravy too! Worth every step I took to walk from my B&B.

I've been here loads before for drinks but had never eaten here - only question I have for myself now is why not? The mix and match sausage, mash and gravy combo is a great idea and not only that but the food is outstanding. Excellent quality sausages, great mash and the gravy just tops it - all this for... Came in here for a quick after work dinner with my boyfriend as its my local decided to stay for dinner as after a pint I lost the motivation to cook. My 12 year old joined us and despite a mistake with the order, which was due to the barmaid continuing a conversation whilst taking my order, the food was... More

The pub is nice and the atmosphere warm. Tasty beef roast served with vegetables. My friends said pork roast was good too. Staff is ok. Need to return to try bangers and mash.
