Downstairs the themes of the beach and outdoors influence the colour palette with lamps resembling clouds and clever use of pebbles which feature strongly throughout the restaurant. Upstairs the photo montage helps to transform the dining area into a sophisticated yet edgy space. I try and make a habit of trying out a new place every time I go out to eat so I feel it's a real testament that I've visited 4 times in the 5 months I've lived in the area. The staff are lovely and chatty, the location and atmosphere are vibrant and the food is fantastic. Of all the... More

As it's a chain you pretty much know what your getting in terms of food and service. My review is for the great service I received from the staff and manager(a man with dark hair). I ordered the spicy calzone but for some reason was far hotter than I expected and for my palette was inedible. I explained that to... More

We were staying at Brighton for the night and didn't think to book a table at a restaurant for our evening meal. We arrived at Zizzi where they managed to find a table for the two of us but did warn us that there was a 30 minute wait for main meals which we were happy about as they had... More

As it is part of a chain I was somewhat hesitant as there are so many good independent restaurants in Brighton. Despite my reservation about going here, my pal and his wife assured me that they had had good food in other ones. Service was friendly and efficient and I started with the Fritto Misto. I wanted a Rustica Pescatore... More

A Friday lunchtime visit found it far from full but service was atrocious. Waited 45 mins for our starter of an Italian bread basket. Another 30 mins for our mains. To add insult to injury I ordered a Calzone dish but the waitress came back to advise they had none! Given the number of places one can eat in Brighton,... More

The food here was excellent but the service was lacking slightly. We were seated quickly and got our drinks and starter. We then had a main which was fantastic. We asked for a sweet menu but 20 minutes later, we were still waiting! As we were going to a show, we had to forget about the dessert. Apart from that,... More
