Unfortunately that's about it. We have visited this establishment 3 times, the first time in April was ok, good menu choice, staff attentive and an overall good experience. However, since then the place has gone down hill, maybe down to the busy season, I'm not sure. The last and final time we visited my Husband and I ordered food. I... More

A fabulous location with stunning views. Very busy, lunchtime didn't really impress. Expensive for what it was. Sounding delicious, very small quiche arrived with a small pile of rocket, this sounded wonderful on the menu but two mouthfuls and it was gone, priced at over £6 it was a bit steep. The soup was cold round the edges and suggested... More

Came here for an afternoon tea with friends. The cream tea was very good. It came with a clipper tea, a very nicely fruited scone, great cream and jam. Also had a ham, cheese and tomato panini. And that was nice. Atmosphere good.

It is a while since we visited Durlston and this time it was to attend a wedding. It was a fine sunny August day and the views are amazing, ideal for photographs as the backdrop of scenery just adds such depth. The ceremony was held in the Belvedere right at the top of the castle and the reception in the... More

What a stunning location to sit and have breakfast or any meal come to that. We sat out on the terrace and enjoyed a full english and a smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, I have to say this was the best scrambled eggs I have had in a long time. The staff were very attentive and our meals arrived quickly.... More

We went for dinner on a lovely evening. After we had given our orders, the waitress suggested that we might like to have our drinks and complimentary bread on the terrace. It was a great idea as the light was wonderful with the setting sun shining on the white sails of the odd yacht out on the sea. I had... More

We had our first evening meal at Seventh Wave restaurant on Saturday, 9th August but it certainly won't be the last. There can be no where else in Britain with such spectacular views but the views wouldn't be enough if the food wasn't good. The food wasn't only good but excellent and as for value for money it was superb.... More

What a place to eat and drink whether it be an evening meal or mid morning coffee and snack. The place is very clean along with well presented staff who cannot do enough for you.(One of them gave us a lift back to our Hotel as we were unable to get a taxi )The views from inside or out are... More

Of course this is a honeymoon cafe with no competition so it can charge what it looks but £5 for a bowl of soup is still steep. Lovely setting though, friendly service, nice views.
