Sat outside with the glorious views. The lunch menu didn't start til 12 but we could order our food early and it would be cooked at 12 but they may be a wait. The food arrived at ten past and was excellent, the haddock and chips was a good size with nice flakes, the burger was also excellent and the... More

This is a great place for lunch with fantastic views over the sea from the terrace. It's very dog friendly - dogs are allowed inside and out - and our server brought a bowl of water unasked for our retriever as he thought he looked thirsty! My husband had the fish and chips, I had the pollock. Both very obviously... More

Superb food, superb views, very well priced and overall amazing. Highly recommended so much so that my husband and I married at Durlston recently. Seventhwave catered for us and it was awesome!

Visited on a hot and busy day. Food took a little while but arrived freshly prepared, well presented and tasty. The building has an interesting history and had some years ago become almost derelict. The building has since been refurbished and now provides a site well worth visiting. A great insight into the area and its history. Views from the... More

This restaurant was extremely busy & all the empty tables outside were covered in plates & glasses but once I asked a member of staff to move the it was done very quickly. Our order was taken & dealt with quickly again & we sat and admired the view! I had a goats cheese salad & my Husband had a... More

Durlston Castle was the venue for my daughters wedding in June this year. The location is superb. The catering was excellent. The staff .. just great. I couldn't fault it. If you're looking for a venue for a catered event with a spectacular outlook, Durlston should be on your short list.

Stunning surroundings with streching views. Me my husband, mum and dad met for lunch after walking round the park. It was very busy but we managed to get a table outside. I was suprised to see such a bistro style menu with it being a country park. My husband and I hade a panini each and my parent's had the... More

Had lunch here while visiting the country park and really enjoyed the cleanliness, friendliness and views from the restaurant. If not looking for a large lunch I would recommend choosing a children's portion for even better value.

Lucky enough to get a table outside on a beautiful day. Views gorgeous. Very busy day and some customers had clearly been waiting a while for their food. Luckily for us we were on holiday and didn't care! It is a fantastic setting, the staff were very pleasant even though clearly under a bit of pressure. Drinks were perfect, food... More

We walked from Swanage and could not get over the transformation of Durlston Castle since we were last there. It includes this very good café. What really makes it is the terrace with the great views of the sea. I had a lovely ploughmans and my wife's cream tea was good as well. A great spot for lunch.
