A very friendly pub with excellent food. Good service. Good wine list and full menu with many daily specials. Go for the locally-caught fish and you can't go wrong.

Five minute walk from our hotel, we were pre-booked as part of a large group. Lovely welcome. Food great and delivered hot, which is an achievement for a group of 24. Couldn't fault it and clean plates all round.

Staying only a few doors away meant the Crows Nest Inn was an obvious place to try. Fortunately, despite not having booked ahead (advised to do so!), there was a table available for us. Fantastic local pub, had an excellent choice of draught beer, lager and cider, really friendly people would recommend anyone to go for a pint

We would have liked dinner but it closed (for food) at 1930 hrs. Nice pool table.
