We had a full english with coffee for eight pounds which was served really quickly and by friendly staff. This is a great restaurant set in Swanage town and they never disappoint with their food. The portion size of the breakfast is spot on, definitely one we recommend.

Unfortunately this place seems to get overlooked a lot by people wanting a nice meal out which really is a shame because I think this restaurant has the perfect mix of good food, fair pricing, friendly staff and comfortable surroundings. It's definitely my restaurant of choice when I want to pop into town for dinner.

We often visit Swanage and always use Beavers as our cafe/lunch place there. We visited on the 2nd January having walked from Corfe Castle Village. As always the cafe was full with a fabulous atmosphere. You can't fault the staff who are attentive without being overbearing. When we arrived the cafe was nearly full, but every member of staff was... More

Always busy which is a good sign. Staff give you a warm friendly greeting as you walk in the door. Food tastes home made this time I had cottage pie which was piping pot and delicious. I was eating on my own but their were lots of family parties. They were so busy that some customers had to be turned... More

We were staying in Swanage for New Year and we were so glad Beavers was open on New Years Day as their full english breakfast's are great!!! The food was hot, tasty and great value. The service was friendly as well as the atmosphere. Would definitely recommend it to friends.

Superb cod and plaice, golden and light without being oily. On a cold day it was very slightly chilly but the doors were open on the log burner which was a nice touch. It looks like a traditional fish and chip palace but the menu has slightly more variety, with serving staff who were happy and helpful. Really good coffee... More

Beavers is just a cafe so don't expect anything fancy, but what they do they do well. We had cod and chips and a jacket potato with cheese and mushrooms. The food was hot, tasty and the portion size was generous without being overwhelming. Service was friendly and swift. We really enjoyed looking at all the art work. So all... More

Food is good, hot and tasty. Surrounding are basic, functional and can be a bit cramped when the place is busy. Don't get me wrong we do like the place.

Stopped for lunch enticed by the roast lamb special on a board outside served between 12 & 3. As it was 12.15 we thought it would be fine. It was quite busy but we received a friendly greeting from the staff. On ordering I was told they had run out of lamb... The waitress apologised and then went to turn... More
