Great Pub with lots of vegetarian choices!

What's not to like? Warm welcome, good food and a good choice of beers and ciders (it's a free house). The icing on the cake was that I had a choice of about 12 veggie dishes - unusual in a pub! My wife had the homemade fish cakes and said they were lovely. Wish we lived closer - would... read more

The Blue Raddle has the feel of a real, old fashioned pub. The food is quite varied and reasonably priced, service is friendly. There are two things they don't take, children under 14 and debit/credit cards, so leave the kids at home and go via the cash point!

Lovely pub, lovely locals, would recommend the ales and the service was great, have been before and would definitely come back soon.

Above says it all. Pubs like this are becoming a rare commodity and they should be patronised to prevent them becoming extinct!

This dear little Pub in the centre of Dorchester is well worth a visit if you enjoy the atmosphere and service of a traditional Pub, which are so few and far between these days. Food is excellent and their home made soup is delicious. The Land Lady always gives you a warm welcome .

Tried quite a few, but this was more to our taste. Very friendly with well kept beers. A good old fashioned traditional pub, which are, sadly dying out! No food when we visited as the landlord and landlady were on holiday.

Called in for lunch with a friend after reading some of these reviews. It's a nice pub and the beer and hospitality was good. We ordered lunch, but I came away a bit disappointed, for example a homemade pie was just a filling in a ceramic dish with a bit of puff pastry floating on the top, served with frozen... More

Good beer, prices and ice snacks, very good services. We arrived a little late for the lunch time session but as there were four of us they accommodated us great example of customer first!

Booked here on the TA reports, yes it is a locals pub and an interesting decor to say the least. Food is ordered at the bar, having chosen from a selection on a blackboard. A varied selection yes, home cooked yes, but it is a pub, and prices charged are more towards a gastrro pub, not a locals pub... where... More

On impulse six of us booked late on Friday evening, not only did they accomodate us, but they provide a good quality range of home cooked meals. Including drink and a bottle of wine it came out at £20 per head. i should add that the staff were friendly and attentive. All in, a warm quirky little pub.
