If you're after something a little quirky but great fun then you won't be disappointed with The Blue Raddle. The Raddle is an intimate community pub frequented by local characters, famous for the ales and Landlady concocted meals on offer. The wine and other beverage selection isn't bad either! As if a visit to The Raddle isn't entertaining enough there are regular folk and Irish style music nights as well as a wacky charity meat draw every Friday evening and a quiz featuring quizmaster The Creative Accountant at the turn of every fiscal quarter. The Raddle is the home of 'laughter on tap'!

Just been away for a couple of nights with my husband and we visited the Blue Raddle after reading about it on their website. Seemingly popular with locals it offers many real ales and ciders and does not hold with a set food menu - the landlady cooks whatever she fancies using lots of locally sourced ingredients. We both enjoyed... More

If you are in Dorchester looking for a pub that has character and real ale rather than bright lights and cheap Carling, try the Blue Raddle. Tucked in a side road off High East Street this is one of our favourite pubs in town. Cosy, warm and welcoming!! Great beers, ciders and food too. If you want to eat it's... More

A lovely local pub. Have met some very nice locals here. The ale is professionally kept and poured. I have had a diverse amount of real ale here. The good is also very good value for money without any compromise on quality.

A very interesting 'local' in the centre of Dorchester. We went on a Friday night for something to eat having read the very positive reviews. There were two vegetarians in our party of three so it was refreshing to see a great selection of vegetarian options. We were a little bit disappointed with the food having read the other reviews... We popped in here as it was the closest pub to the main road we were travelling down at the time. I was awed to see that there were as many veggie options as meat dishes and a few of them were vegan too. We loved that it was dog friendly, despite our dog no longer being with us. The... More

Unfortunately they weren't doing food on the night I was there, but the atmosphere was fantastic and the bar staff were really friendly. The cider was excellent too and there was a great selection of ales

We have eaten here on many occasions and as usual we had a great meal when we visited for Saturday lunch with friends. There is always a wide selection of main courses to choose from, including a good range of vegetarian options. Lovely puddings too if you can manage one! My husband says there's always a good range of real... More

Had a light business lunch which was served hot and tasty. Nice selection of real ales. Overall a nice change to the plastic pubs. .
