Moreton Tea Rooms is a firm favourite of mine, a real treat in its location, and food. Originally I found myself going over to check out the Lawrence of Arabia connection, his grave being just a 100 metres or so away, the church where his funeral service was carried out, and historical photos of Winston Churchill as part of the... Went yesterday, great atmosphere outside in a lovely setting. Staff were friendly, ordered a large cappuccino (it was tiny) my wife had a pot of tea and we had a cake and a scone which were all very good and came to £8.90 all in, actual food menu looked very good and we will be back!

I have visited Moreton Tea Rooms at least 6 times. Every visit has been an absolute delight. The food is always delicious - especially the Cream Teas. The sandwiches are massive (perfect for me and my dog to share), the bread always beautifully fresh. Service is excellent and staff are always cheerful and helpful. Dogs are not only welcome in... Whenever we are in the area, which is usually two or three times a year this is our favourite place to eat. Since Gordy and Kate took the reins we have never been disappointed. We have just spent two weeks staying nearby and visited three times. It would have been more but they only open Thursday - Sunday in the... More

Went there a couple of weeks ago. Lovely building and surrounding countryside. After a couple of hours walking with the family we decided to pop in for afternoon tea. Even though there was only a handful of customers there wasn`t one table that was clean and not a sign of any waiting staff.Sorry but I find it unnaceptable, as an... More

It is ideal to combine a visit to this tea shop with a visit to St Nicolas’ Church which is renowned for its etched glass windows. This teashop has ample seating both inside and out, also photos reminding us of the original purpose of the building – a school – and some more about local notable, Lawrence of Arabia. The... More

Visited this week as part of our holiday. It was a horribly wet day and we were expecting a tea room in the middle of nowhere to be deserted - far from it. The place was packed. Although modernised somewhat the establishment still retains its old school routes and design. The food we had was very good. Service would have... More

On our first visit, the food was excellent (specials board) but service was dire. The second visit - husband and friend raved about the burgers but my sausage sandwich was inedible. I didn't complain because I thought it was just me wanting a juicy sausage + too much bread. I couldn't work out what the meat was! Service - friendly... More

This little tea room serves up some mighty fine lunches along with tea. I had the smoked duck breast on a salad of red cabbage spiced so nicely. My partner had the smoked salmon on a salad of a different nature. In both cases the presentation was superb and the food was good. Full to the brim, we didn't try... More
