Visited here last year and thought it was the best cream tea ever. So, wanting brunch, I went again and once again, it was excellent. I had the 'Cobbled Eggs' which came with salmon 'fingers'. It was wonderful, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Service was wonderful as always, the staff are really friendly and good fun, despite have had 2 coach... More

I prevooked High Tea as a treat for my 80 year old mother. This consisted of ham sandwiches, chicken with watercress and Mayo and smoked salmon and cream cheese and cheese scones and chutney for the savoury course. Sweet course consisted of standard scones and apple scones with cream and jam, meringue, 3 small slices of cake and a pastry.... More

Two couples: called in for a coffe break during a cycle ride, approx 2.00pm. Staff were rude and and it wasn't an isolated incident or one individual. Coffee when it came was really average and served with no interest or interaction.

I spent a lunchtime at The Tearooms with my Dad and there was no hurry for us to leave. Dad likes cheese and biscuits as a dessert and although it was not on the menu, this was produced for him without any fuss.

visited with a friend for a cream tea. I was surprised at how busy it was on a Wednesday afternoon! The waitress came almost too quickly to take our order and the order then came quickly too. It is a little pricey - most cream teas consist of 2 scones whereas they only give you one. We had fruit scones... More

Good lunch served, lovely outdoor seating and good service from the ladies... Lots to do and see locally with the most amazing church 5 minutes walk away with stunningly engraved windows, so unusual in a church. T E Lawrence funeral service held here and he is buried nearby. The tea room has an area with T E Lawrence memorabilia....well worth... More

Lovely hidden place about 15 mins drive from centre of Dorchester. Gardens were lovely and the staff friendly. Great tasting coffee. The food looked good. We only had a scone which wasn't to our taste but was enormous. Recommended and well worth the drive. Tip. It is easier to drive to from the southern road as if going to Lulworth.... More
