Bit confused by ANY negative comments here. Think students at weekends trying to earn some cash & build some core skills. All staff friendly and hard working. This little tearooms receives parties by the coach load. The area is stunning with beautiful walks nearby. Food nice and coffee was fabulous! Love it!!

really lovely location , great food, wonderful part of the world - in all weathers this restaurant has just the right food on offer, either a spot on bacon sandwich or breakfast in the autumn, or a cream tea and ginger ale in the summer - cannot recommend it enough - would admit I live very close by and am... Lovely staff, met with a smile. There was loads of different seating options both indoor and outdoor. Food was fantastic, high quality ingredients and lovingly put together to create a culinary delight, well worth a visit.

I really wanted a cream tea but decided to share a sandwich first and found myself too full! I did try a bit of my friends ginger & treacle and scone and it was delicious. Lovely tea rooms but if it is a nice day the outside area is beautiful too. Well worth a visit if you are in the... More

The cream tea was spot on, big pot of tea, all of the usual jam and cream and the scone were delicious and obviously fresh. Even better, as a coffee lover, they swapped my tea for a large latte and only made a small additional charge. Very good value all round.

After having visiting several times previously, the last visit was a disappointment both in food and service. Our choice was the mozarella & tomato salad which arrived promptly and of good quality but for a main course was very small, just the size of a starter not worth the £8.50 cost, we nevertheless decided on a desert however, after waiting... I found this place on the map and decided to visit it for tea (even though I just had lunch.) The ambience is very nice and you'll definitely enjoy a relaxing afternoon tea here! I had a brownie and a pot of regular tea (the waitress recommended a brownie because I couldn't decide what to eat), which was pretty good... More

I visited Moreton Tea Rooms on Wednesday afternoon with my Wife and her parents for what I hoped would be a quintessential English Tea after a visit to St Nicholas Church and TE Lawrence's grave in Moreton , On entering thge establishment we were told rather brusquely to find our own table ( the only tables for four persons were... I'm so sorry that you did not enjoy your visit to the Tearooms on Wednesday and that you felt that our headwaitress did not deal with your complaint sincerely enough. Although there is never any excuse for rudeness, I'm afraid that on this particular day, there was some excuse for the poor service you received. The local attraction "Sculpture by... More

Visited this with an old colleague for a cream tea. Quiet inside with little garden to have a chat in. Had a light lunch with was ok nothing to write home about but would visit again as its near a very nice little part of the river where kids can bath and paddle around in.
