Need to take care of the gardens, otherwise nice.

Quite pleased to find it, the food was nice and not too pricy. Staff seemed a bit serious best thing is that they are in nice old village school rooms, with some interesting displays. . The worst thing is that they have really neglected what were once really pretty gardens. If they could take some... read more

Had savoury and sweet cream tea and amazing choc brownie. Excellent service, very good value, pretty setting, shame about wasps!

The service was good and the setting is lovely, but it's the food that we really loved. We had the beef brisket which was massive and the beef was cooked really well. Really nice brioche bun, coleslaw and chips too. Not a big fan of the tomato sauce, it wasn't very sweet and was served in one of those trendy... More

Service pleasant but not the speediest by far. This seems typical, and needs attention. i always go for the scones which might well be described as substantial and filling. Good quality coffee. The outside courtyard with its " yurts" is very attractive on hot summer days.

Interesting converted farm building and lovely walled garden (bit waspy this time of year especially with all the cream teas on offer). Popped in for lunch on a drab grey Thursday and found the place busy with most tables taken inside. Mix of older folk and those with young families. Nice menu with plenty of of daily specials to chose... More

2nd visit to this tea room. All the food is of a high quality. We had the quiche and new potatoes, and the pulled beef in a brioche bun with chips. The quiche could have been a slightly bigger portion but it was all excellent. The cakes and coffee is all good too. Would highly recommend this place.

It was busy to be fair, but service was very slow. The sandwiches are described as "doorstops" and they were. Personally, like a lot of people, I like to be able to taste the filling of my sandwiches, but, with the very, very thick bread, it was rather difficult to taste anything other than bread. I am going to start... More

Our doorstep sandwiches are very popular but we are happy to accommodate any customer request as we make everything from scratch, so would have been able to provide it with thinner slices of bread so please don't hesitate to ask in future. We have been extraordinarily busy this summer and our staff work as fast as they can in our... More

This is a nice tea room set in an old village school. On our first visit we sat outside in a quiet relaxing rear courtyard to enjou tea and cakes. The teapot held plenty for numerous cups and the cake portions are large.Service for tea and one cake was slow. We found ourselves in the vicinity on the next day... More

We are delighted that you enjoyed our cakes which are all made in house in our little bakery. I'm sorry that you were less pleased with your sandwich. The doorsteps are very, very popular but in future, please do not hesitate to ask for thinner bread. We prepare everything to order so would be happy to accommodate your wishes. More

Popped into Moreton tea rooms for breakfast this morning as I enjoy going there for the occasional cream tea. There were maybe five tables busy, all already served and three staff chatting behind the counter but we waited 20mins to be served. OK, that happens sometimes. But then we waited another 20 mins for the scrambled eggs I ordered, which... More
