Had lunch here, my husband and I had the speciality sandwiches which were yummy but not very practical to eat by hand but tasty none the less, the chips were a bit too much but perfectly made and crispy and the salad was fresh and tasty. Hope to visit again soon.

My partner and I often visit Potters cafe for lunch or a coffee. It's a quaint little place with friendly staff and excellent service. The food is always fresh and served quickly and there is always a good choice on the 'specials' board. Give it a try as I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Masses of great food with good service and reasonable prices, one plate of food will feed two average ladies for lunch.

We dropped in here for a coffee which was excellent, low prices too. Potters also has a nice sheltered courtyard in which to eat. Food looked very good indeed but we had other arrangements for lunch. Quick friendly service, would certainly go back.

It was my first time eating in Dorchester and I specifically chose to eat at Potter's Cafe to support Autism Wessex's charitable breakfast event. I love Dorchester and Durngate Street is one of those hidden side streets of the old town. As soon as we sat at our seats, the open fireplace was started next to our table and we... More

It is only yards off the main street, and it is a little oasis of calm and good bistro food . The small, sunny courtyard is a great place to savour the sandwiches and salads that are on offer. It is all cooked fresh and the portions are generous. The Dorset Apple Cake is a treat. Potters has been a... More

We stopped in Dorchester for lunch and found Potters. We initially nearly walked away as it was so busy but got lucky as a table became free. The service was great, the atmosphere equally so. I had the half breakfast, which was delicious and bigger than I expected! My husband had a tuna sandwich which was served in delicious bread.... More
