Don't go any further! If you're looking for a pub with great service ,a warm atmosphere and brilliant food then you've found it! The Brewers is a gem. We often visit the pub and last night a group of 10 of us had a Christmas meal there. Everything was faultless and a great time was full. Despite the pub being... More

We've visited The Brewers 4 times now and every time it's a winner with whatever we eat. Tuesday curry night is tasty, the fish cakes are a winner, the steak and stilton very meaty and filling. Whatever we eat, it's a filler, but when we think about not having a desert we never resist a bread n butter pudding -... More

I am never disappointed when I eat here. Today I had venison cooked in Guinness and Port. It was melt in the mouth and piping hot. A warm and friendly greeting from everyone as usual. cannot praise them enough.

Visited The Brewers Arms with friends last night, and had a great time! All the staff were very friendly and efficient, attentive too which was great-we never felt like we were bugging them for an extra drink or anything, they seemed to know what we wanted before we did! Menu had a great variety of meals, something to suit everyone,... More

Good menu. I had the Thai Green Curry which was delicious. Several guest cask ales which were good too. Great service would return.

We have enjoyed weekday lunches very much, a decent pint of Palmers or Doom Bar from the barrel and a generous shared ploughmans platter is a pleasant and reasonably priced meal. The house burger looks superb so that is on the to do list for another day. Maybe next week, it's no hardship to visit such a friendly pub. We... More

We had dinner and lunch at the Brewers Arms and stayed in their B&B accommodation. The food and service was excellent, the people running it really understand what customers want and give a very personal service. The pub was packed with regulars and visitors on Saturday night, there was live music and it had a real party atmosphere. The food... More

This pub was taken over two years ago and under the new management team has been transformed into a great local. Good food, a good wine selection, good beer from the cask and on our visit, good entertainment too. The management team work hard to offer a warm welcome and work hard to maintain it. Keep it up guys.

To say that this pub is dog friendly is an understatement. Everyone, staff and customers alike, really looked after our spaniel! And the food was very good too, as was the reasonably priced prosecco to wash it all down! Highly recommendable!

Nice pub in a small town near Dorchester. The food is excellent and the staff really good. It's a little more expensive than your regular pub food but the quality matches the price.
