Modern, chic interior, reminisent of a trendy Soho bar/club-come-restaurant nightspot. I had the Beef Wellington followed by a Chocolate Fondant, traditionally both very difficult dishes to pull off... and they were absolutely spot on, faultless! A very modern bar located close to the centre of town. The staff were frendly and there was a good atmosphere - having security on the door helps. The cocktail menu was fantasic, although quote pricey for the amount of drink you actually get - E.G £6.50 for a small cocktail glass manhatten. Would reccomend and return. More

Visited 1812 on the back of the reviews on this site. Really happy we went. Nice bar area with very knowledgeable staff, before we went to the restaurant. Lovely setting, attentive staff and good menu. The food was really good, reasonably quick to be served and hot! Highly recommended. More
