We visited this place a week ago on a Sunday. Many Wadworth's ales on handpump as well as Titanic and Cornwall guests. I had a pint of Titanic. It was well kept and delicious. Staff were very friendly and made a fuss of our dog. We had a burger and fish & chips. Both tasted good. Can't fault the place.... More

We visited for Sunday lunch and were not disappointed. There are around 10 real ales, Titanic and Horizon well worth a mention. The small menu is supplemented with a few specials as well as a roast on Sundays. The roast beef meal was excellent and plentiful. The bacon and cheeseburger also got a thumbs up. But the goat curry was... More

(Volbeat) After my guv'nor and I had enjoyed the delights of ‘The Scott Inn' at Kingston and the 'Square and Compass' at Worth Matravers we headed back to Bournemouth, checked in to our respective hotels and headed out to 'The Goat and Tricycle'. It's located in central Bournemouth, but at the top end of the main (pedestrianised) shopping drag, on... More

Visited this lovely pub for lunch after reading the great reviews here on tripaadvisor. Well worth finding. . . . Very welcoming on a really wet & blustery day. The batman was polite & friendly. As son we entered the atmosphere was good. Really well looked after & very clean. Dogs are welcome here. They have a strict over 18's... More

we have just come back from having some food at this pub. The sausage and mash were really nice with very good gravey. My husbands burger was very tasty and the chips were good. My husbands food came on a chopping board,as seems the norm these days, but he would much prefere it on a normal plate!

Visiting Bournemouth. Went there on a Friday night for food as it was only a 5 minute walk from our hotel. What a fantastic place. Great atmosphere when you go in and you really feel like you are in an old English pub. We arrived there at 18:30 and the pub was already packed so we had to wait until... More

We moved to Southbourne about six months ago and a friend had recommended the Goat & Tricycle to us as a 'proper' pub. We finally got around to popping down for a visit a few months ago. We went quite late, nearing the end of food service I believe but we saw a few meals go out & they looked... More

Would highly recommend the pub to anyone in the area as they have a great selection of everything! 10 ale pumps, 4 lagers and a few ciders, would recommend trying the Rosie's pig if your not an ale drinker. This is the perfect place to try a range of ales as you won't find many places with this sort of... More

Had lunch recently with a work colleague. Unfortunately the pies were not available but both the ham egg and chips and the sausage and mash were very good as were the sides, albeit the sides were a little small. Good food at a reasonable price and would try again if in the area.
