Friend had a leaving do there. I popped in and found the place lively with a good atmosphere. Had a wide range of bitters which were served at correct temperature. A most enjoyable pint which can be hard to find nowadays.

Originally we came as we heard dogs are welcome....but this pub is so much more. Great beer selection. Friendly and welcoming. Excellent food. My burger was freshly made and very good indeed.

Searching for somewhere to eat in Bournemouth we came across this proper pub. Good food, perfect range of ales and great atmosphere we went for lunch and the food was delicious and Ales to match. We enjoyed it so much that we went back in the evening and we not disappointed. Brilliant.

Stayed in a Hotel nearby with the dog and the wife. Needed a dog friendly pub and Google is your friend etc. Warm welcome by the friendly staff, good food and beer. Nothing else needs to be said...

My wife and I visited in October this year (2014). Based on this pub's website, plus the trip advisor comments, we decided to give the place a go as partaking of some real ale is always a good way to get the evening started. What a disappointment. Of the many beers that had been advertised only 3 were actually on.... More

We discovered this little gem of a Gastro Pub hidden away in the Bournemouth backstreets on a late Sunday afternoon. Busy, very friendly with staff who displayed some initiative finding us a table despite there being reservations on it for later. Very good selection of ales which were very tasty and the food we ordered was prompt and excellent. We... More

forget your wine bar nonsense this a proper pub. Plenty of good real ales, friendly and charming barmaids with a good mix of local characters.

Great proper local local - possibly one of its kind in Bomo! There is a great outside covered courtyard, it's doggie friendly and the food is great mix of traditional pub food. Good service good range of beers and lager!
