Excellent for real ales, 11 on tap when we visited (again), mostly Wadworths, so a good start. Very busy also being popular for food.

good selection of local beers, friendly proper pub atmosphere and good food served all day. look up and see the collection of walking sticks on the ceiling

Friendly pub - quite packed on a sunday night as quiz every sunday - came last and got the booby prize of pork scrachings but swapped for crisps !!! lent us a brolly and took back next day. Real ale.

Nice to find a real pub amongst the hotels of Bounemouth. Good selection of real ales which are nicely advertised on a large display board. Service was good and attentive. Food simple but good quality. The cheese and biscuits were a meal on their own.

Good friendly service, quick, I had the 3 Meat grill which was a good filling meal, my wife had the Ocean Pie again very good filled with plenty of fish. Reasonable price, we where quite happy

Went to this pub as it was local to the hotel we were staying at. Loved the ambience, good selection of real ales and the food which was a very pleasant surprise.
