A nice old fashioned pub that serves a good range of real ales. If you like your beer then this is a good place for you. Decor is pretty dull, atmosphere not great. Toilets are not nice at all. We didn't try the food so can't comment. Staff were great.

We found it on Google Maps and it was near our hotel. We went there and were delighted. Great food, freshly cooked. Beer and cider tasted great and the staff was extra nice. The overall atmosphere is nice and the garden in the back a nice little extra. We liked it M&H from Austria

Our second visit to the Goat & Tricycle during a weekend in Bournemouth. A quaint traditional ale pub with fantastic food. Service was fantastic and we were made to feel most welcome. It is definitely on the list for our next visit.

Went there for lunch one day after a trip to the beach. Found the staff very friendly and easy to talk to. The place looked very clean and tidy. We ordered a couple of chicken burgers and they were great. Portions were generous and tasty. Especially liked the pool table and out side area. We could watch the football from... More

This is a lovely friendly pub, with a huge number of real ales for those who like a decent beer. A real sun trap of a beer garden, right in the centre of Bournemouth. A nice mixture of people in here and never too rowdy.

This is a great pub. From the outside it even looks like a pub! A good selection of real ale and some decent pub grub at reasonable prices. I had Olde Trip and fish n chips. Staff are professional and courteous. Inside the atmosphere is great, a bit like a locals pub. There is a lovely courtyard but unfortunately it... More

Something has changed about this establishment! I have lived in Bournemouth for over 30 years and have been coming here for a long time! The service and atmosphere has changed somewhat but I cannot put my finger on the point, I hope it goes back to the old goat and tricycle only because it was a good and friendly place... More

The first night that my girlfriend and I stayed in Bournemouth we just wanted somewhere near to the hotel to get a bite to eat and a drink. Having looked at the reviews on tripadvisor we chose this pub thinking that on a bank holiday evening there may be a few people in there and we'd have a nice atmosphere.....wrong,... More

It wasn't easy finding this pub, especially as it's covered by scaffolding at the moment, but it was worth the effort. The inside is surprisingly spacious, it's quirkily decorated, it's clean, and has a nice beer garden. Having visited during the World Cup and not being a football fan, I was pleased that the screens were fairly discreet and the... More

Visited last Saturday to watch the England football match. Unusual for a pub in Bournemouth on a Saturday night in summer as there was no drunk stags or hens and no chavs! Apparently just been taken over by new management - seemingly a young couple who are quite hands on and apparently pleasant! - already happily chatting with the locals.... More
