My friend and I arrived for lunch - really enjoyed the food, excellent quality, but sadly service was slow - we had to ask for our meal after 20 minutes wait

All staff very polite, friendly and attentive without being false. Food great had the sea food platter and really couldn't fault it or actually finish it. This seemed to be a place people visited to celebrate special occasion. Would certainly visit again and recommend.

I knw this was a bit pricey but the fish finger sandwich was too good to miss. It was very good - chips were a bit Macdonald like so I would suggest they change those for something a bit more in keeping and the white bread wasn't particularly high quality either and went a bit soggy a bit quick

This restaurant was wonderful! Our waiter and our waitress were really attentive and knowledgeable about the dishes on the menu. To start we had oysters as he'd not had them before and wanted to try them. They were lovely and fresh. For a main, I had sea bream which was cooked to perfection and came as a perfectly sized portion... More

We visited the Westpoint restaurant twice upon our trip to Bournemouth. The first visit was for an evening meal. There was a live singer which was a real treat. The food was good and included local produce. The food is quite pricey, but the quality is like that of other fine dining restaurants. The wine list was good also. The... More

We had eaten in the Westpoint a few years ago and were quite happy with our meal so we decided to return. Our main meal was fine but I was disappointed with the starter,it was on the specials board and read Poached tiger prawns with chilly salsa, when it arrived it was 4 tiger prawns on a small slate and... A real gem - the staff are genuine and friendly, the food probably the best I've eaten in Bournemouth. The only criticism I have is that if you're vegetarian the selection is somewhat limited.

I went to this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend. I ordered a mixed seafood dish that tasted absolutely amazing. My only criticism was that it said it came with baby vegetables and I only got 1 piece of carrot and a cherry tomato. The flavour was excellent and the staff very attentive. The chef even came out and... More
