My friend had booked a small gathering of 18 people for her daughters 16th Birthday by way of something different. However, whilst the food was tasty, the shop lacked atmosphere and the majority of staff were unfriendly. Our specific waitress was unobliging, conceited and very condescending throughout the whole of the visit, she even openly showed her disappointment that a... More

Nice relaxed surroundings. Staff very friendly. Beautiful China. Had a very festive mincemeat and apple strudel with tea and it was gorgeous. Will most certainly go back as soon as possible!

Lovely range of teas from delicate to smoky, excellent homemade cake including gluten free options. If it looks empty from the street it's because everyone's in the back conservatory!

This as a lovely place to visit and have afternoon tea. Very generous portions all freshly made with lots of tea or coffee to taste. Only reason for loss of a star was that there were a few things missing eg gluten free and nut free products (had gluten free but not nut free) so one of our dear friends... More

Without question they serve the perfect cream tea. fresh scones warmed to just the right temperature in an Aga within the shop, generous portions of cream and strawberry jam, wide selection of teas and coffees to be followed by delicious cake. Staff extremely pleasant and clearly enjoyed their work. The tea was served in Royal Albert china with matching plates.... More

We were delighted, having planned to have tea elsewhere in Totnes, we walked up Fore street and the crisp paint work and sparkling window just invited us to open the door. Heaven, the smell of home baked cakes and pastries excited our tasted buds. "Do you have a table for two?" And we were swept into the tearoom and offered... More

My wife and I had been to the Vintage Tea earlier in the year and thought it was great, so since my brother and his family were visiting us in May from California we wanted to book for a proper British tea experience for the whole family... We reserved a table in the main area by the window and expected... More

Visited this place last week it was recommended by a friend and had a good rating here on trip advisor. At entering it looks like your going into an empty shop, it has a small shop area and a couple of tables, we asked for a table and were put at this shop entrance area. The reception from the lady...
