Have been staying near the pub this weekend and have used it as our watering hole. Very friendly place. Good beer and food. And plenty of interesting river to keep a 6 year old happy.

Stayed near The Waterman for a few days, was lovely to have a friendly pub within walking distance. The staff were so friendly and helpful, we arrived after the chef had left but the manager cooked a meal for us which was fabulous. The whole place had such a friendly vibe, we wished we were staying there not the impersonal hotel up the road.
