Lovely little tea room

On a rainy Wednesday afternoon, whilst on holiday, we had a quick Google for Devon Cream Teas in Totnes and this place came up as first option. It is a charming little place but looks like an Antiques shop at first glance, we didn't realise we had found it till I looked in the other window and... read more

What a lovely little tea room! The owners were so nice and attended to my every need. Everything was just right! I wish I had come each day I was in Totnes! Now I will have to visit again and make this my place to go each afternoon.

This place can be mistaken for an antiques shop as it is full of clutter and fine bone china collections. Please do not let put you off as the coffee and cake here are simply excellent and the service charming. One of the best cakes I have ever tasted!!! Lovely!.

We love it and we are locals and can choose to go anywhere in the area. We take our foreign visitors there.

Having previously frequented this establishment (and, indeed, recommending it to others), we are sorry that our recent experience means that we will no longer be visiting. We arrived as a group of four and, after waiting (whilst two of the staff looked on from a nearby table), we were offered two tables of two by a seemingly disinterested and surly... More

Go back in time 100 years and experience wonderful tea/coffee, food presented in a beautiful way (salads are simply a work of art!) Allow at least an hour. Totnes at its best!

Such a great little tea room. Amazing choice of teas and delicious cakes in a quirky and memorable little cafe. Service very slow which actually wouldn't be a problem as the surroundings are so nice however you are just ignored. A table of four got up and left as service was slow and no one even acknowledged they were there.... More

Visited Greys yesterday, my second visit, and it was still as perfect as the first time. It really is a charming old fashioned tea shoppe, but with the most delicious cream tea (scones literally melt in the mouth!) and famously blended tea, served in bone china and with silver tea service… a real treat! Many more homemade cakes and tea... More
