We enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea in the lovely shaded area of the courtyard/garden filled with wonderful hanging baskets and containers. A wonderful array of food including various types of scones and options for afternoon tea. All the food was delicious and the portions generous. Highly recommended!

I always have to visit Angels whenever I visit Torbay, even if I have to go out of my way a little - They really do offer the very best cream tea in the region, with a vast selection of scones to choose from and ample cream and jams to smear them with. Inside, it's a delight of kitsch and... More

Don't think the tea at Angels can be bettered. Had a set half tea between two of us and it was more than ample. Terrific scone...just the right texture with delicious jam and vast amount of cream plus huge sandwich with gorgeous filling, lovely cinnamon toast and homemade cake. All beautifully served and with the bonus of a sea view... More

Very busy place it's always worth booking here. The house tea is delicious and the scones are out of this world. Great service and very friendly staff. I would highly recommend the cream teas huge scones and plenty of cream and jam. Also part of the THHN children's charity which I hope they are very proud of.

We initially choose this spot as it was central to the places we planned to visit and we was so glad it was; I'm now totally converted to scones.

This little restaurant is situated on the cliff top of Babbacombe, just outside Torquay on the 'English Riviera' and has views stretching right along the south coast to Portland Bill. It specialises in its Devonshire clotted cream teas (all day fare) with a surprising selection of wonderful fresh scones and home-made jams. There are savoury dishes, a variety of breakfasts... More
