Were turned away at the door in a very rude manner by a man with a scruffy beard as we had not booked! We turned up at 11am and told all tables were reserved until 4pm, no help was given or alternative.

we went here for afternoon tea after reading reviews on trip advisor. We were not disappointed. I would recommend in booking a table as we were lucky enough to be seated when we arrived, by the friendly staff. We both ordered the cream tea. The scone's were lovely and warm and home made in the shape of a heart which... More

We've been here and it never disappoints. The quality of the food is excellent, one of the best cream teas I've had anywhere. This time we had the 'Angelic Full Tea' ..... don't worry that you only get a piece of cake to share, we landed up bringing it home as we couldn't eat it at the time. Even in... More

Ohhhh !! , like I've put this isn't the first time nor will it be my last. I couldn't move after eating here. Just everything was lovely from the sandwiches on proper bread. Then the scones, warm and gorgeous, especially the "ginger ones" with ginger jam n' good old clotted cream mmmmmm !! All washed down with a proper cup... More

Angels Tea Room has such a good reputation that booking is essential! I've been a few times now, and I've seen them have to turn people away every time. It is good value for money with such a variety of choices on the menu. We had the Angel High Tea which was amazing. The bread for sandwiches is fresh and... More

I came here today with my boyfriend, it was our first visit. After reading on trip advisor of how busy it gets we booked a table, I strongly recommend if you go to book, as it was all reserved tables while we visited. We were seated straight away and had a menu bought to us. After about 5 minutes a... More

This was my first visit to Angels & I was delighted by the decor, the menu & especially the fabulous food. When it arrived it was beautifully presented on a three tiered cake stand. For two of us to share there were two types of sandwiches, cinnamon toast, scones with jam & clotted cream and a slice of carrot cake.... More
