Go here most years for anniversary meal. Never disappointed - excellent food and wine. Service impeccable. Refurbishment of public areas a great improvement. Steaks and seafood starters brilliant, assiette of deserts and cheeses delicious and a lovely Happy Anniversary platter of chocs. Thank you.

What separates this restaurant from the rest is the service. From the moment you walk in the door, and are offered a drink and the menus, to the processing of the bill this young, friendly, happy, efficient and clearly well-managed team is a pure delight. We wanted a classic Sunday lunch and that's exactly what we got. Good choice of... More

I appreciate everyone has an opinion and your comments about the Dauphinoise Potato are taken on board, However the potato is made in layers. We have at least 5 potato options across the menu, often 7. Over the last 4 years we will have developed the menus and there are seasonal changes in style in order to keep our guests... More

I've been for Sunday roast a few times now..I had to write a review. I would say, hand on heart that you would struggle to find a better Sunday roast anywhere in the known universe.

Thoroughly enjoyed my first experience of an afternoon tea with bubbly at the Orestone. The food was delicious and the service excellent. The finger sandwiches with smoked salmon and cucumber, roast beef & horseradish and egg mayonnaise were a delight. The scones were warm, light and tasty complimented with lovely strawberry jam, fresh strawberries and clotted cream. The mince pies... More

What a great discovery. Chose Orestone manor based on TA reviews and ranking. Booked dinner on a Sunday night and surprised to see the place was fairly busy. Enjoyed reading the menu in front of the huge fireplace burning giant logs. Lots of choices including loads of local produce, especially seafood. Amuse bouche very nice although perhaps made for rather... More

Always visit this place when we come to see family. Stunning terrace area with beautiful views out to sea. Wonderful manor house inside and out. Food is simply fantastic. Good selection of well cook dishes at a very reasonable price. Will return again next time.
