We came here both nights we were in Torquay - impeccable service both times, and brilliant value for money for the fish served. All dishes were perfectly cooked, especially recommend the seafood broth. We will definitely be coming back!

Extensive menu with food well cooked and presented. Not at all pricey considering the cost of some types of fish. If you like fish, go there.

You need to book to get into this restaurant as its very popular. Menu choice was excellent. I had crab salad for starters and my husband had mixture of prawns, mussels and escalopes, both were delicious and came with hot crusty roll. Main course I got cod loin and he got fish trio, again all superbly presented with nice selection... More

We had dinner on a Monday evening and the restaurant was very busy - booking essential. The restaurant is small and the tables tightly packed. I had tempura starter and cod and lobster Thermidor main course, both excellent and the fish totally fresh. Service was good and friendly. Prior to ordering a waiter showed us a selection of the options... More

We always visit Number 7 when in Torquay and are never disappointed. The food is great and it's always difficult to know what to choose from the menu as there is such a great choice. It's relatively small so you really do need to book. We went on a Monday night and it was full with people being turned away.... More

Having previously enjoyed several excellent meals here, we booked a table a month in advance for three people when family members were visiting Torquay from Wales (forward planning as we know how busy the restaurant can get). On our arrival, the staff were adamant that the booking was only made for two people (we know that this is not the... More

A tightly packed restaurant with great atmosphere and an amazing choice of things from the sea. I had skate wing and my husband monkfish. Just lovely. Can't wait to try the crab next. Book early to avoid disappointment.

The enthusiastic staff who knew their product and their clientele made for a lovely evening out. They were very helpful in advising what wine we should choose.
