The cooking fat was stale and needed changing. It made the chips horrid and greasy and the fish was inedible, even the seagulls didn't want to know. Staff were indifferent. Shame as there aren't many good chippies around this part of Torquay so a bit more effort would go a long way.

Being on holiday,I'd done some research on fish and chips take a ways and thought we'd try this one after reading the reviews. Fish nice and fresh, peas nice but chips let it down, very bitty, fatty, and I think we got the bits from bottom of the fryer. Disappointed

We ordered through just eat and were told by the website to expect our food in 45 minutes at 8pm a reasonable hour to eat dinner. But it then changed to 9pm. I rang to enquire as to why this was and was greeted by a fairly rude man who offered no apology or whatsoever. I know take always can... More

Did my first online order for delivery on a Saturday night and FA cup final night, so with this in mind I was prepared for along wait, however our order arrived early! they give you a time online and we asked for 6.45pm and they arrived 6.15! even better. Their Yorkshire fish cakes are something else, proper slices of fish... More

We had a night of Fish & chips, well sort of. They food was lovely, best fish I had tried for a while, 1 slight problem you could serve a few more Spam fritters in a portion & not just 1.

Had fish n chips and how bad it was . I recommend they change oil cause I could taste old fat and I reckon the chips had been re fried . Kids love chips but they all threw them away and had a sandwich waste of money . Worst fish and chips I ever had

Stopped for a snack one evening and had fish bits and chips. They were so tasty and the fish bits were about the size of a chicken gougeon - the best chips I've tasted for ages and at £3.00 a real bargain.

Great value, nicely cooked and plenty of it. I haven't had better fish n chips anywhere, as another reviewer says £6 spent here gives you plenty of food for two people. What's not to like, especially for this sort of money?
