If your going to go to Devon tea and scones is a must and if your going to go the Torquay you must try it here. This is really lovely place.

Found this not far from the harbour on a wet cold day. The service, food and pot of tea was very good, and excellent value for money. Well decorated and very clean, a joy to be in.

We called in late on a Sunday afternoon for a quick cream tea. The cafe was very welcoming and the cream tea very good. With many tearooms at the harbour, Burridge's just has a nicer feel about it with lovely sandwiches and coffee. The cakes look, and taste, amazing - save room for a slice of the seed cake!

We sat outside and had a coffee and one of the best hot chocolates ever. Lovely small café, well worth a visit

Very nice food and lovely staff. I will be back there again soon to sample some more of the cakes. I can recommend the fruit cake.

The place itself has a wonderful old school tea room feel. The food was excellent. We had 2 cream teas, very reasonably prices also. My only critisms would be that im not a fan of tea leaves and thats ok but the strainer we had wasn't very good as it had breaks in the mesh. Also some of the tea... More
