Visited friends and enjoyed a tasty lunch in The Singing Kettle. The snacks were well presented and tasted as good as they looked. The Lemon Cream Shortbread biscuits were absolutely fantastic - so tasty and light! Compliments to the chefs.

Had to go for a short walk to the lovely tea room down the road from the Victoria Hotel (part of the Torquay Leisure Hotels) to have a lovely home made scone (well two) and cup of tea made with loose leaf tea. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly.

Had a nice afternoon here, sandwich, tea and a nice scone. There's a good choice on the menu of both traditional cream teas, snacks and other meals. The cakes on the counter looked great as well.

Lovely staff and good home made food. Enjoyed a lovely cream tea here. Good old-fashioned service with china cup and saucer not very often seen these days.

This little cafe just happened to be opposite the hotel where we were staying on a hastily arranged break and was a convenient stop for a light lunch. The menu is just about right giving an excellent selection of savoury and sweet dishes. The sandwiches are both generous and tasty as are the rest of the offerings. The service is... More
