We recently discovered Different Corners Lounge and had a lovely lunch there. The owner is polite and friendly and the food is delicious. I had a Chicken Caesar salad that was so tasty !! Lovely coffee and a relaxed laid back atmosphere. Will be going to try the Breakfast very soon !

It's not easy to get a proper coffee in Torquay, it tends to be awfully weak, but I was really impressed with the coffee here and the service was excellent and friendly. The clientele are clearly regulars and the proprietor is charming. I didn't eat but I will go back as I was impressed.

we have been here twice to have breakfast. Service is great, coffee very good. The breakfast is excellent, no grease, nicely presented and decent sausages! breakfast was well presented, no grease on anything. eggs cooked perfectly, no crispy bits. bacon was perfect, bread could do with being a bit more of the hand sliced variety for toast. coffee and tea excellent. tiny place but worth taking the time to go and hope you can get a table (or book). service was excellent

We call in here mainly at weekends for breakfast but ive had lunch here as well and its consistently excellent and everything is really fresh and tasty however its quite small so we cant always get in so its worth ringing them before and booking a table

you will almost always need a reservation as space is very limited, but in every other respect food, service, ambience it is a great spot, never had a poor meal there.
