Six of us went for the paella night, yes we were 10 mins late but our food was almost immediately put in front of us (we didn't realise it had to be served by a certain time) no question as to whether we might have wanted a... Having lived in Spain for many years this place and the settings is just like you'd fined in the south of Barcelona harbour . Just wished they had more fresh shell fish options as would have been a 5 star , food was good

I regularly visit Below Decks with the family when the sun is out, it is in a central location with great views, great food and it catches the sun all day. The only down side is that the food sometimes takes a while to come out, but if you aren't in a hurry then it's the perfect spot to have... More

Called in for a late lunch, and despite it being March - managed to sit out in the sunshine. At this time of year, and if you time it right, you can sit on the chairs and tables that are just outside the front door. Food ordered at the counter and paid for immediately. All the staff appeared to be... More

After arriving in town wanting a good value breakfast we came upon Below Decks on Beacon Quay. This place is tucked away towards the end of the Quay (near Living Coasts) and was a welcome find. Staff were polite and helpful in serving up a very good quality full English breakfast. The sausage was extreamly tasty and of very good... More

I organised a leaving party for 20 people at Below Decks with a hot buffet. I can not praise the management or staff highly enough. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was amazing. Everyone who came commented on what a lovely venue it was, amazing views, friendly staff , great food and a fab atmosphere.

We keep coming back here because it is a nice location for a quick lunch or a snack after a boat ride or before a walk around the harbour. It's nice to sit outside and listen to the sailing boats' masts making noise in the wind. However, we are never satisfied with the food we get. If it's deep fried... More

The moules and frites tasted fantastic, very fresh and cooked in a white wine and cream sauce with bread to accompany the dish. The service was friendly and helpful and we had a lovely view of the harbour from the outside seating across the road.
