Popped in here today after a stroll along the Downs with husband, son and grandson. Was met with a cheery, "Hello!" from a woman behind the counter (for me it's always a good sign when a customer is acknowledged in this way.) I ordered coffee for the three of us, and toasted tea cakes with jam. All arrived in next... More

Went here for lunch with my mother who has mobility issues. Very easy access and staff helpful. Reasonably priced. The only downside was the female staff member (I think it was Lyndsay) could have been a little happier and spoken a bit more rather than just delivering the food to the table the wrong way round and not confirming one... Thank you for your comments about your visit. I am sorry that a small element of the service was not up to standard. I assure you that your concerns will be addressed and Lindsay will be dealt with accordingly (despite being 6'2" with a beard). More

Brilliant fresh clean surroundings I love it because of the brilliant cliff and sea views And it's dog friendly It is also wheel chair friendly I noticed. Great choice of food and good service. Would have given top marks apart from I smoke and there is a no smoking sign on an isolated outside table. Perfect for getting away from... More

The window tables have lovely views and its a very pleasant cafe. The staff are very friendly and are keen to please. The food is nice but nice cafe food but the prices are on the high side for what you are getting.

Excellent food, which is well presented and delicious. The only downside is the price, which is a little more than other cafes that are just as good - apart from that excellent view across the bay of course. Recommended.

Can't vouch for busy times as it was quiet when we stopped by but all tables and floor immaculate. We ordered some tea cakes and coffees which were fine and sat by window overlooking the bay. Menu was pretty much what cafes usually serve. Cakes looked delicious and we will definitely be returning as view is lovely. Nice decor.

So noisy in there seems like your in an echo chamber.Food okay but very expensive for what you have...Can sit outside weather permitting. Not my first choice with so many other eateries along the Downs

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We are aware that the new furniture and refit has made the cafe a little noisier. We have arranged for a new acoustic ceiling to be fitted next week, 11th December, which will solve the issue. Please come and see us again then. More
