lovely place to eat

We poped in here for lunch while on holiday. It is a lovely place to eat as the view is amazing. The staff were friendly and polite. The home made soup is a must as it was delicious, as were the scones.

I can't believe the last reviewer (October 2014). I have been going for many years and the owner/manager has been thoughtful in the extreme....including coping with my relative with dementia. The food has always been good, the cakes excellent and the service brilliant. Thank you

I love to drink my tea here and gaze out over the great blue yonder of Oddicombe bay. As I munch on their delicious sandwiches and cakes I dream of the nautical life, the crack of the sails in the wind and the cold spray of salt on my face. I imagine the heat of the wooden deck in the... More

Thank you for your kind words. We never tire of the view; even on wet cold days in the winter. You are more than welcome to sit outside with an ice cream and many of our customers do just that. We hope to see you again soon. More

this place sets the benchmark for a great breakfast in Torquay- especially the sausages. Views over Babbacombe Bay and easy to park outside.

I arranged to meet a friend and this cafe, with its great views and relatively easy parking fit the bill for a simple lunch before a walk. The service was excellent, particularly because my companion had already eaten earlier in the day and did not want a full meal - the staff member who served us was very flexible and... More

This cafe that has been there for decades has been fully renovated in the last 10 years. You sit, inside or out, taking in the breathtaking views of Lyme Bay from the top of the Cliffs. Great fresh sandwiches made to order with crisps and salad garnish. Homemade hearty soups in the winter and a selection of superb homemade cakes,... More
