Took the family out for a carvery on Sunday was not sure where to go so we thought we would try the Grovsenor . We arrived and was met at the door by Thomas and sat in the resturant with great views of the garden and the sea. We all had the carvery which was very good value for money.... More

Food quantities i felt were very poor £4-50 for a sandwich not even on thick crusty bread Evening meal of pasta was in a small dish it could have actually passed as a starter...no garnish & 2 tiny bits of garlic bread Wish i had eaten in the Harvester would have got much more for my money

Excellent food and great service. Good value. We had a table by the window looking down into the gardens.

We stayed at the Grosvenor and ate here once. Service was exemplary from seating through to dessert! We both had whitebait starters - ample serving cooked properly (not frazzled!) with garlic aoli - very tasty. My wife had belly pork with crackling and mustard mash (plus garvy and apple sauce)- full of flavour and cooked properly. I had medium-rare 8oz... More

My husband and I had a fantastic meal last night. We arrived a little late and the restaurant was very quiet but it had been busier earlier on. There isn't a massive variety of food but more than enough choice to satisfy every taste. We opted for steak, it was beautifully presented, and tasted amazing. My husband had whitebait to... More

Lovely place, polite and helpful staff, and superb food. Steaks were done to perfection. If I had to make a negative comment, I would say the chairs weren't terribly comfortable, but that didn't really matter as the meal was so good.
