Limited choice on food but a bountiful load. A good selection of ales by bottle or draught, I recommend the Otter. Pirate inn theme to this centuries old pub and a warm welcome.

A great night out with great food. Would recommend to any visiting Torquay. Make sure to book as we were lucky enough to get the last table for two

The oldest pub in Torquay was recommended to us by the hostess at our B&B. Straight forward to find, and we were glad that we made a reservation. We were instantly welcomed by the friendly staff and servers. The food selection was good - especially for those who like seafood. My only quibble was that my steak wasn't evenly cooked... More

Not expensive, but my husband and I would not particularly want to go there again. The food was very mediocre and so were the staff!

Nice to find a pub with loads of history and character, with excellent food and pleasant staff, not aimed at the teeny bopper market but for ages accross the board. A hidden treasure off of the main road.

We just needed something to eat and a pint and our hotel recommended this place to us. And it was absolutely the right spot. Food was good and the atmosphere great! Will be back next time in Torquay!

Quick service. after four hour journey was starving! Food was tasty hot and served quickly! My husband had a dessert and it was so good he was in danger of removing the surface off the plate to get the last bit! Give it look in!
