Perfect for great food & great service

Struggled to book somewhere in Torquay on our last evening of holidays. I have a hungry man who wants great food but not measly portions so finding somewhere that fits was a gamble as didn't want mass produced pub grub. In short, the evening was dominated by our waiter who was abrupt to say the least. Gruff or rude would also fit. The food was OK, but no more. The wine was good. Overall a price of £30 a head felt overpriced. We won't be returning.

I have been going to Biancos several times each year for many years with friends. We are always given a warm welcome and the service and food are always first class. Sometimes we have booked for after the theatre (10.30 p.m) but have never felt we had to rush our meal.

My wife and I visited Biancos very recently with two friends, what a treat it was. We received a very warm welcome from the staff who were attentive and courteous throughout the evening, and thoroughly explained the dishes available. The food was sensational, we will definitely be visiting again.

We were staying in Torquay for a couple of nights and visited Biancos. We hadn't booked but luckily a table had just paid their bill. Staff swiftly cleared the table and reset it for us. the menu was quite varied and we couldn't decide as there were several dishes that took our fancy! We both opted for two dishes off... More

When we arrived (having booked 3 months in advance) we asked for an upstairs table rather than the one assigned to us downstairs, and the maître d' agreed saying that we would have to vacate at 9pm. The food was lovely, perhaps the starters are a tad oversized and overly fussy, but good quality. Main courses were delicious, particularly the... More

Fun noisy Italian, good food, fast service, few frills. The scalloping Milanese was very good. So was the Montepulciano red.

Lovely ambience and brilliant food. The spaghetti bolognese was the best I've had in the local area and for a similar price. Some of the items on the menu are a little pricey but can easily be avoided and are definitely worth it. Service was quick, efficient and sophisticated. Also in a good location close to the harbour. Would recommend... More

Great food, felt a little rushed plus rubbish table upstairs, on the way to the kitchen & the toilets. Recommend going but check it out first & select your table. Think downstairs would be better

This is the 4th time we've been over the last 4-5 years and it never fails to impress. I love fillet steak and have eaten it in many places, but Biancos' steak is melt in the mouth, no knife needed, juicy, tender and delicious. I wish I could eat there forever! Husband had king prawns which he said were fabulous,... More
