We ate here for a 30th birthday. Due to seeing a show at the Pavilions we made a booking for 5pm. We were hoping the food would be as good as if we were eating later and were not disappointed. The service and food were excellent. Would recommend.

Enjoyed a very good meal, and were well looked after by very friendly staff. Personally I found the restaurant a bit chilly as the air conditioning was very effective - that apart it was very pleasant although I felt the menu was a little restricted.

We recently visited with friends and I couldn't fault the meal, I had white bait, followed by ribeye steak then cream brûlée washed down with a bottle of champagne. Service was attentive, the ambiance was great, the restaurant had an overall up market feel without being too formal. Will definitely visit again.

Tour was interesting and Harriet our tour guide was very professional. No gin was being made mmmhhh interesting ???? someone else made that observation in their report considering how much gin is needed to furnish all the gin joints in all the countries???? The history of the building the timeline the smelling of the ingredients and a tasting of the... More

Visited on 23 October for a business dinner. Service very attentive, although we did get attention from two waitresses asking the same questions, better than none at all! We were waiting for one more person to join us so didn't want to order anything before she arrived, hence the 2 waitresses asking us twice. Food was very good everyone one... More

I haven't been there for a year or two, but in the previous 2 visits, it was very very good. Staff very helpful, and the food exactly what you would expect. But, it can get very busy so best to book in advance if you can.

High street restaurants in our cities can be somewhat hit and miss, but Barbican Kitchen is a significant cut above the average. My friend and I both had Pea Soup as a starter and wow - I didn't know it was possible to extract that amount of flavour from this humble vegetable! Second course of sea bass on a bed... More
