Great Food, Good Prices & Attentive Service

Just had a great lunch at this excellent brasserie. Artisanal breads with extra virgin olive oil and balsamic to dip and delicious kalamata and nocellara olives to start. My wife picked this restaurant. So I was apprehensive. As it turned out my slow cooked pork belly I ordered with the alternative crushed potatoes was excellent. The piece de la resistance was the crushed potatoes thanks to Anna in the kitchen. May she go from strength to strength.

We had a disturbing experience when having lunch at the Barbican Kitchen. I am disabled and attempted to use the lift to go to the ground floor. The lift jammed between floors. It was a frightening experience made worse because the staff seemed to think it was a joke. It took 15 minutes to get the lift operational. No one... More

Attended with a group of friends and definitely won't be returning. We were there for nearly 3 hours, the food took ages to come from the kitchen despite the fact we had preordered it 6 weeks before! We were not offered drinks and had to go to a bar ourselves which was difficult as all 16 of us were squashed... More

The place itself is amazing!!!! big enough to cater for the whole family.. loved homemade bread and olives but wasn't so impressed with the main. I found the waitress a bit rude which was a shame but on the whole had a lovely evening

A meal with family and friends. The lamb steak was very good, but the smoked haddock risotto could have done with a bit more smoked haddock.

We had lunch here with a tour group and were served a set menu, so we didn't expect much. We were surprised with an excellent menu and very good service. In fact it was the best meal we had enjoyed since arriving in England a few days earlier. Our choices were Rolled Westcountry lamb breast with crushed garden peas and... More

We took advantage of the set menu, which on Fridays and Saturdays is available from 6-7. In summary, good food for a good price. We'd both go again.
