Great setting, great music, lovely food and coffee

This is a little gem on the Hoe, well worth a visit for a light lunch, coffee, or even to share a bottle of wine and watch the ships come in.

Waited over 45mins for two sandwiches and two burgers, kids menu unsuitable for children under 8, false advertising as burgers don't come with what is pictured, but staff are friendly and gave full refund as wrong food came out.

This is a great little cafe with fantastic views across Plymouth Sound. It is small but welcoming. The menu is varied and the food lovely. The staff work hard and do their best to serve you quickly and efficiently. Sometimes, at busy times, the wait is longer than in some of the bigger places along the front but you must... More

The sun was shining, the wine was chilled and so were the glasses - nice touch. We didn't eat, with the wine at a reasonable £14 a bottle why bother? Great service, really friendly.

Lovely views, lovely food. We go here for breakfast sometimes for a weekend treat! Lunches are very good too, the paninis are really filling. It can get busy, but the staff are excellent and it's certainly worth any wait

We were walking around Plymouth Hoe on a glorious SUmmers Afternoon and stopped off at El Cafe for a Cold Drink in the Summer Sunshine. We both had Smoothies...Red Berry and Mango were the choices. The drinks were freshly made....none of the "Out of a Bottle" stuff that some establishments provide......and promptly delivered by a polite Waitress. Very nice and... More

Nice location but the eggs were undercooked, the bacon tasteless and the sausages were cheap and full of gristle. Won't be returning unfortunately.

Having come to trip advisor to write this review, I can clearly see our experience was not a one off... here goes anyway. Ordered two full english all day breakfasts at 11.59am, with a couple of coffees. Sat down and waited, coffee was going cold well before 12:30pm, at which time we asked where the food was and were rudely... More

Wife and I had tea, coffee and cakes here mid afternoon, a delightful place to stop and ponder over the views of the harbour coffee was very good , cakes though pretty average most of them prepacked, staff were ok but not the friendliest. Would recommend for the views and the venue is quite pleasant, they do breakfasts and lunches... More
