Hope it's not nosediving.

I used to come here often after a mornings sailing or doing work on the boat. It was all that was described in the older reviews. This place has new management and the latest owner has no passion for the place. The young girls are left unsupervised and clearly do not have the qualifications or knowledge to run the place themselves, with this in mind they are very friendly and apologetic. The food is luke warm as everything in heated up in a microwave unless fried.... More

The cafe changed ownership last year and has suffered with the new owner not understanding his clientele, he is often rude and instructs his customers to say please and thank you (no seriously, it is written in the menu). The staff are great and are struggling on as they remember how it used to be and want it to be... More

great value, good quality ingredients, immense portions. Busy little cafe within the marina, underused by berth holders. Great place for breakfasts, although a huge variety on the menu of various homemade stews, pasties, fresh sandwiches handmade each morning in the cafe or to order. great views and nice to sit outside watching the bustling boatyard

Very disappointing today. I think our hopes were raised by the reviews on here, but the basics weren't even in place really. This is inside the marina, so you have to go through the barriers to get into the area. Once in, it's free parking for 2 hours. The cafe is very small with I think 6 tables. It's cramped... More

In the heart of QAB this busy little cafe is open at convenient times, very welcoming and knocks out simple quality snacks for the host of people who keep boats down here, use the facilities for water based fun or just walk or drive in to pass time amongst that world or just to gaze across the Cattewater and out... Whether you want a light snack or something more substantial, this café offers an extensive menu at very reasonable prices. And with views out to sea. A little off the beaten track yet only a 15 minute walk from the city centre - or a short drive with plenty of parking available. It may only be a cafe, but it's... More

We have been eating here for some time now and look forward to eating there. The food is freshly cooked and serves one of the best breakfast's around. This is a cafe that does not pretend to be anything else but a cafe whilst keeping the standards are high. It seems the manager has a great team around him who... More

Have the full English breakfast here quite often, recently tried some other meals on the menu - all top quality. Not cheap like greasy spoons, but it's not a greasy type of place. Everything is cooked fresh, although this does mean 20 minute wait for your order.
