Easily one of the best on the barbican, clean and the staff are friendly. The fish is always good and the chips are fantastic, prices are good too although portions can be a little on the small side.

On a cold night I enjoyed some of the most succulent fish I have had for many years. And the chips were fluffy and full or flavour. I have tried many restraints on the barbican, but very few get me wanting to go back again and enjoy the very helpful and curtious staff, and to be served some of the... More

A very good fish and chips, good size portion and very tasty. This is a small café/fish and chips on Southside Street, the Barbican. We just managed to squeeze in to sit and eat but they do takeaway of course too. Fish batter was light which felt slightly healthier than the usual fish and chips :)

We were passing and dropped in for some fish and chips. We eat inside - it was fairly clean and tidy. Service was polite and with a smile. Took about 10 mins to cook. Good value.

Came here after all the positive press it has recently received saying what high quality fish and chips they have on offer. Well all i can say that the press it has received has obviously been done by a spin doctor!! The young staff seemed to muddle what we ordered and the portions are small small small Presentation came in... More

Bought take away fish and chips from here a couple of weeks after I read in the local paper that it had an award winning young fish fryer working there. Reference to the award was visible outside the shop so mistakingly I expected good and sufficient food and although the chips were a reasonable portion and enjoyable the fish was... More

We stopped here for a quick bite to eat. I had cod and chips. The chips were tasty and the cod just melted in my mouth, it was delicious. My mate said the same about his cod as well. It wasn't the biggest fillet I'd had and it was a shame it wasn't bigger. My mate had a meal that... More
