Lovely and fresh food. Shame about the opening hours. It was also very busy to get a table, which just shows how popular it is.
Slunk out the back door of Jury's with a dreadful hangover after an excessively long night of debauchery and excess. Reception at the hotel had recommended this small unit run by two bright lads knocking out simple snacks with an Italian bias beside their small but perfectly formed deli shelves. I purchased a Groupon for two, never heard of BBD before. It is well hidden in Billbury Street, close to Bretonside bus station. I had to wait a little bit longer for a take away, but the baguettes were yummy and the coffee still hot when I came home.
Stopped here for a lunch as we had a voucher, was a little hidden but well worth the find. The food is produced fresh using quality products and the service was friendly and welcoming. I am definitely going to visit again even without a voucher. The Blue Bear blueberry cake is really cute.

The staff are lovely... More

Very good hidden back street cafes are in vogue in this corner of Plymouth and Cafe Kiss is a good bet in North Street after closing... More
Tucked away near the Barbican, well worth the short walk to it. The food was top notch, coffee and hot chocolate that me and my wife had were the best we've had in a long time (much better than any chain coffee shop) and the prices beat the chain shops hands down too. Staff were really friendly and helpful -... More
