Pleasantly situated overlooking the Barbican, the Fishermans Arms is a traditional pub with real ales, a warm and friendly atmosphere and excellent food. This is a pub and the food is good quality and great value. Reputedly the second oldest pub in Plymouth (grade 2 listed)we are steeped in history and have one of the last surviving remnants of the original Plymouth Castle.

What a fantastic hidden away treat! It's the type of pub setting and experience you would expect but my god does that Chef know how to cook. We were told we could sit were we liked so we chose a six seater towards the back and were greeted by the waiter giving us menus within a few minutes once we... More

What a lovely little place. My partner and I were recommended this place by a friend who lives in Plymouth and boy were we not disappointed. Went a couple of times, just drinks the first time and the staff were really friendly having a chat about Plymouth and about the pub too. We went back for some food one evening... More

If you like a nice cosy and friendly Pub, then the Fisherman's Arms is for you. Staff friendly and hard working. A Typical pub menu offering a nice Sunday Roast and other classic snacks/meals. A nice Free-house offering all kinds of drinks at reasonable prices. Will definitely visit here again.

First visit to this charming establishment for Sunday lunch. Choice of three meats and also a choice of standard or large. Atmosphere was very cosy and relaxing. Service was very warm and friendly.
