I've been frequenting the Tudor Rose for a couple of years now and have always been pleased with the service, the food and drink and the historic surroundings. I would recommend the cream tea

I went to Plymouth in June 2012 with my classmates and we discovered this fantastic place, situated in Barbican. We stayed in Plymouth 1 month and every week-end we came to eat in this tea room. Food was amazing and I had an addiction for them scones! Yeah, this restaurant's not very cheap but I think that food is worth... More

Tucked away behind Southside street on the Barbican is a quaint tearoom full of history and character.Lovely lady served us with Hot Chocolate ,tea cake and tea ,at 11 am it was quiet and homely. The menu looked good and prices varied. Can recommend a quaint English tea room set back from the main street and worth a visit .

We weren't disappointed, the cream tea was I'm told excellent and I would recommend the Tudor Rose Ice cream sundae, warning you need to be hungry as its HUGE! All in all it... More
