OMG the Trio of pork was just lush. I checked out this restaurant on the Internet and was glad I found it after a 5 hour train journey from Kent. I loved the meal and cleared the plate.

We enjoyed lunch here before our visit to The Theatre Royal. The seafood linguine was delicious and very filling so,sadly, we did not have room for dessert. The staff were welcoming and attentive. Our table was by the open window with a view across the harbour - plenty to see and enjoy! Well recommended!

Have been to this place a few times ver the years. There has been a change recently and not for the better. Management are rude when you point out something is wrong. I was also overcharged because ne person in my group couldn't make it at the last minute. Won't be gong back and I would advise if your have... More

My experience of this restaurant was so bad I felt the need to actually join TripAdvisor to leave a review. They get everything wrong here, the food (when it eventually arrives) is truly shambolic. If you complain then the staff are rude or you get a promise that a manager will contact you back and it doesn't happen. Stay away... More

We booked a table of 28 for my cousin hen night, when booking we were asked to leave a £5 deposit each, this is all we were asked. On the night the food was served (which was very average) there were a few mistakes and a few missing dishes, which were reconciled. At the end the bill was presented with... More

After reading the previous review, I was very surprised. My husband and I visited the glassblowing house on a Tuesday night, it was very busy and we also had the seafood platter. The crab cakes were delicious the sardines perfect and not at all greasy, as was the calamari. Nice crisp salad and lovely dressings. To follow we both had... More

Judging by the many positive reviews here, I'm tempted to think that this was just an off day but the starter in particular (shared seafood platter) was inedible. The goujons were swimming in foul tasting oil, fried to destruction and just about the worst dish I've encountered in a restaurant in a very long time. The fluoro-luminescent yellow 'aioli' was... Have not been here for a few years but it was not, very reasonable prices and service was good. Staff were attentive and food delivered in a reasonable time.
