Food nice although meat a bit tough. Wanted a dessert but left for 30minutes and no-one came back for order so just paid bill and left. Also coupled on next table spilt wine which stank and put me off food. Lovely view of harbour but could have been better service and they lost money as both were going to have... More

I went with family to celebrate my mum's birthday and the food was absolutely beautiful. There was a small problem with the temperature of a couple of the main meals but once it was brought to the attention of the waiter it was dealt with and fresh meals were prepared efficiently and without complaint - they event gave us a... On a busy day in the Barbican on a weekend where it was appropriate to be dressed as a pirate, it was nice to find a place where us tourists could enjoy a tasty Devon delight in the form of a Cream Tea. Two scones each, butter, jam and a tasty pot of Devon Cream all washed down with a... More

Second time here and once again outstanding food and service. Anybody who has been here and doesn't like it should really stick to McDonalds. My scallop starter was amazing and my pork four ways main was stunning. My two colleagues had fish mains. Totally clean plates for three starters and the mains. Bill including pre dinner drinks and a bottle... More

Booked a late lunch with a couple of friends, two of us ordered the scallop starter which was a well thought out dish apart from one thing, some of the scallops were far from fresh, we were left feeling queasy and unable to enjoy our mains which were average at best. When we complained about the scallops we were told... More

Took a chance on picking a restaurant on the Barbican (as we had no clues which would be best) and plumped for the Glassblowing House. To be honest we first worried the prices might be excessive and portions too small, but were very pleased to have very generous starters and the quality was lovely. The mains were equally generous &... More

Went with a group of friends from work, someone else chose the restaurant, not the type of place I would usually go to, but went with an open mind. Service was slow considering we had pre-ordered the food several days before. Portions were reasonably generous, though could have done with a few more chunky chips with the large portion of...
