As infrequent (we do not live in Plymouth) clients of this restaurant I was delighted to use a special offer two weeks ago - we were five of us and had a delicious luncheon in this very good restaurant on the historic waterfront of the Barbican Plymouth. The food was delicious - as always - and even with a good... More

Went here for a Sunday morning breakfast. Was lured in by the menu outside promising eggs benedict, however upon sitting down the menu was anything but. Scrambled eggs with sauté potatoes on toast is, apparently, eggs benedict. Few options were available. I requested poached eggs on toast (the menu only had scrambled) & understood why shortly after my food arrived... More

This place gets busy, when it does, it doesn't seem to have the room nor staff to deal with it. The staff can be slow, and unfriendly at times, it does but of the beautiful views and the restaurant itself because it is gorgeous, the interiors are lovely. I have tried and taken other members of my family, but they're... More

We had a half price voucher for the 3 course spring menu which made this an even better place to eat. The staff were friendly and attentive; the food arrived promptly, was tasty, hot and value for money. The music wasn't overbearing, great view and an altogether pleasant end to a day at work.

We visited this restaurant at lunchtime, we had a lovely table overlooking the harbour, the food arrived promtly and the kitchens are open to view so you can see it being prepared, the staff were some good, some indiferent, the food was very good selected from a varied but slightly odd menu for lunch. The decor seems to either have... More

The Glassblowing House is lovely restaurant located in the Barbican on the waterfront. The Mayflower Steps are a 3 minute walk away from the restaurant. The windows overlook the marina and the centre of the restaurant has a large chandelier of hand-blown glass baubles in serene shades of blue. The tables have fresh flowers and a single candle, very romantic.... More

This is a fabulous place to stop for breakfast or brunch in the morning. We were on a visit to Plymouth and strolled down the Barbican from our hotel after having a bit of a lie in. This place looks great from outside and inside is just wonderful. Lovely relaxing, modern, laid back decor - but very "fashionable". We ordered... More

Visited with my family and girlfriend on a very cold morning in plymouth around january, the food seemed reasonably priced and we had heard good things about the food. We were served very swiftly (im glad as we were the only customers in the restauraunt) and drink orders were taken soon after being seated, juice all round. We were then... More
