Lovely lunch

We decided we would try the glassblowing house as it looked really nice when we walked by. The food was very good and the service was excellent. Would really recommend it.

Unfortunately we never got to eat at this restaurant due to the attitude of the 'manager'. I went to the reception to enquire about a table and noticed that to my right there were two members of staff sat on the sofas. They saw that I was there but completely ignored me. After walking around for a few moments and... More

This place has a really nice feel to it in a lovely setting. Best place to eat in at on the Barbican Its not the cheapest place, but I always have the best time here. The food is of great quality and its just a really nice place to be. Service is always very pleasant too.

Booked table online (no one answered phone when I rang) requesting a table overlooking water and didn't get it but we had another good table allocated. Waiter service was brilliant and food ok but lack of specials was disappointing. Think things could be improved but that will depend on management responding to customer feedback.

We went to the Glassblowing House to celebrate our children's academic success in their recent exam results, prior to watching the fireworks. Sadly, it proved to be a disappointing experience. Food, drink & service perhaps the worst I have experienced for some time. Moules mariniere arrived, dry without sauce, no bread, no shell bowl or finger bowl, veg for other... More

AMAZING - I loved this place.... first impressions were good and there was NO disappointment all night. The staff were BRILLIANT - so nice, smiley and friendly. The food was excellent - wine and drinks all good. Really, really good - very happy to recommend this one and will certainly be returning. One nice thing.. on the way out I... More

Having read some other reviews I booked a table for a Saturday night with a little bit of doubt, however this was soon dispelled. We arrived and were greeted by a very friendly member of staff, who showed us straight to our table, I had requested a table with views of the harbour when I booked on-line which I thought... More

Excellent brunch, food hot and just cook, nothing was too much trouble and the waiting staff were second to none, (always check fingernails) 10/10 seated overlooking the water, certainly will eat again maybe when we have more time.

What a lovely place to eat an evening meal overlooking the harbour, the food was all freshly cooked to perfection, and there was a gluten free menu which was unexpected but lovely, I am not a fish eater but on this occasion I did eat plaice and chips and I have to say it was really delicious and when we... It was our 6 year anniversary and we have been waiting to come to the glassblowing house for a while over the years. We live about 40 mins away so we were hoping it was going to be worth the visit. We were welcomed and taken to a table. The table that we were placed on wasn't really where we... More
