Wheelchair access should never be cobbled?!!

My husband and I went to this restaurant last year and enjoyed the meal and service immensely, so much so that we decided to go there again this year. It is difficult finding a decent restaurant in Plymouth with decent wheelchair access (my husband is in a wheelchair). Again the service, was... read more

Recently, I organised for 28 people to have a meal in this restaurant for a hen party. I couldn't recommend going here more! The staff are all wonderful - good sense of humour, very accommodating to your needs and they will do their best to make your time spent there enjoyable. The food is delicious and the whole evening was... More

Dear Greg I will accept that you are the best person to progress a resolution to my complete dissatisfaction, but I have a concern that you as the manager may have made the commercial decision that lead to such dissatisfaction on my part. Firstly allow me to address a question posed, why no feedback from you team that we had... More

Thank you for this review although I was surprised and disappointed to hear of this for the first time particularly given the time elapsed since your visit nearly a year ago in September 2014 . As Operations Manager responsible for the restaurant may I respectfully respond to your observations in the absence of our Restaurant Manager who is away on... More

I took my family for a meal. The venue is beautiful we were sat right at the front over looking the Barbican. The food was delicious and staff very helpful/ courteous. We were not rushed through our meal , which many restaurants do these days. Good value / varied menu.

Have been down to Plymouth a few times over the last few years and this is the first time to The Glassblowing House. We were both really looking forward to a lovely meal, which was also recommended by a fellow guest of the hotel we were staying. I ordered the Moules Marinere and when it came it looked lovely. Unfortunately... More

We were visiting Plymouth and ended up at the Barbican looking for somewhere to eat and we came across this restaurant. It was early evening and it was quite quiet. The menu outside looked good so we went in. The waiting staff were very good and quickly sat us down and gave us the menus and we ordered drinks. They... More

Came here for breakfast and was blown away. Excellent food, very good value for money in an environment that was beautiful! Decor was great and the view was fantastic looking out on the Marina. Would not hesitate to recommend it.

On a visit to Plymouth yesterday my wife and I went for lunch at The Glassblowing house as we always do whenever we go to Plymouth. As always the service was warm and friendly and the food excellent. We arrived 'on spec' on a Thursday evening without a booking. Nevertheless, we were made very welcome and offered the last table by the windows. The staff were excellent, attentive, helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. The location overlooking the harbour was just what I wanted. With the plate windows open we had lots of fresh air on a very... More
