Great with large groups

Ate here last night with a large group of work colleagues on a leaving do . The staff were all friendly and efficient . We had prebooked so the food arrived quickly . The cheese board , although at a small premium , was great value and huge

Decided to pop in here for a Sunday dinner as the restaurant is in such a lovely location. The restaurant was pretty much empty so perhaps we should have realised then! The starters were both nice but both of our roast dinners were rather horrible. The gravy poured all over both didn't taste nice and most of the food was... More

We were just looking for somewhere to eat after a busy day sightseeing. This looked inviting. We had not booked but we were welcome to wait, have a drink and order our food so that it would be ready when we could have a table. There was a very relaxed atmosphere and the food was great and good value. We... More

Great food, fantastic view, tastefully decorated, good value for money and nice welcoming atmosphere. The staff were professional, knowledgable and very friendly. Our waitress, Scarlet, went the extra mile. A lovely time and left very full!!

Looks great from the outside and when you walk in but the menu falls well short of a great gastro experience. Staff are great but the overall experience leaves you sort of bereft. Won't be returning

Lovely decor but menu could be improved. Staff a little over friendly , not sure wait staff should refer to guests as sweetheart!

On my third visit to this restaurant but first time for my husband and son. They were both immediately impressed by the effective service from Herbert. Have to name him because he was obliging, prompt and such well natured. The restaurant is in such an impressive setting looking out onto the Barbican. The tables are well laid out and not... More
