This was our first visit to The Glassblowing House and it certainly will not be our last :-) We were welcomed in by our server, Greg, who was lovely. Drinks were served quickly and our food order taken. Couldn't believe the standard of the food served for the prices charged. A huge thank you to the chef!! The restaurant is... More

A lovely setting over looking Sutton Harbour marine, a wide menu with lots of offerings. We had an unfortunately disappointing burger - and did bring it up. The waitress was lovely and very understanding. My food was lovely, wine was reasonably priced. I would go again and happy to recommend it.

Me and my husband were looking for a place to have lunch in Plymouth when we came across this place. We were welcomed when we went in which was 11:50am. We were told to take a seat whilst they switched over from breakfast to lunch, but told we could have a drink whilst waiting. We both ordered a coffee which... More

Visited 9th October 2014 with a party of 9 and after being seated and waited, and waited to be seen to for initial drinks (which took up to half hour) the waitress finally showed up and asked what we wanted. Whilst she was taking orders there was some banter between friends regarding if we'd done the wrong thing and should... More

Went here for a work party, food was delicious and piping hot which for a large table is a rarity. Staff were very attentive without being overbearing. Lovely location right on the barbican. All in all a fantastic place to eat, will definitely be going back.

Arrived 6 10 pm, Staff very helpful and obliging. Drinks and food came with no delay. I had Mussels (the best ever) the only complaint the bread was stale. Asked for it to be replaced but was given similar bread only this time warmed up to try and get rid of staleness. My wifes Crispy Duck was very good. Would... More

If you want to visit this restaurant - Book in advance. You won't be disappointed. There is a quiet buzz about the place. Although full, you could hear yourself talk. The food is outstanding and on the plus - You can actually watch the chefs preparing the food. We will return. Thank you.

I visited there on 27th September and was told very brusquely that there were no tables, we stayed in any case for a cocktail, on the basis that it suggested on the outside wall they were also a "cocktail bar". on reviewing their menu it list around 8 cocktails with a brief description of each, clearly the majority of them... Slow service, despite only 8 occupied tables. Food was nice, but nothing to write home about. Beer wasn't chilled. Disappointed with the menu, more of a pub menu than a restaurant. Staff were pleasant. Would go back, but not in the near future. Overall experience was mediocre.

Booked a table for 8 for my niece's graduation. Service great despite a busy time and the food was extremely tasty. A set menu helped keep the cost down, while maintaining a good selection for all of us - particularly as we have a couple of fussy bats in the family. All around good time.
