Slow service, despite only 8 occupied tables. Food was nice, but nothing to write home about. Beer wasn't chilled. Disappointed with the menu, more of a pub menu than a restaurant. Staff were pleasant. Would go back, but not in the near future. Overall experience was mediocre.

Booked a table for 8 for my niece's graduation. Service great despite a busy time and the food was extremely tasty. A set menu helped keep the cost down, while maintaining a good selection for all of us - particularly as we have a couple of fussy bats in the family. All around good time.

The setting on the Barbican with windows overlooking the boats is atmospheric. The restaurant furnishings are modern and interesting. Unfortunately the lunch time menu was a little limited, and the food mostly average. We had a meal deal but would have been very unhappy to pay the full price. We had a simple meal in a local fish and chip... More

We were told that we had to be off our table in 2hours, this was before we were seated. The toilets were really bad in both men's and women's. We have been before but would not go back.

I've never heard of a restaurant charging a non-refundable reservation fee, but we paid it. When we arrived, we were met by an extremely rude Maitre d' who seated us at a booth from which we could see nothing of the Barbican. When we asked about the empty tables near the window we were gruffly dismissed. The usual menu was... More

we waited 45 mins for the meal, the waitress was unhelpful and the chunky chips were just quarters of potatoes, not properly cooked, when it came to pay, we put £90 pounds in the dish, the waitress rang in £80 and brought some loose change back ,,we went to the cashier to explain we were £10 missing and he said he could do... Been here 3 times and it gets worse every time. A place that lives on a unearned reputation. Setting is very good. the menus has stayed the same for over a year or two and previous visits have been ordinary. The last visit was for my daughters graduation (its where she wanted to go although there are many better places... More
