Walked in, unfriendly not accommodating, asked the man about starters and he told me to look at the menu! I'm Indian and I'm telling you this place has no class. Average cuisine which they say is Indian! Would not recommend, travel the UK and always eat out especially Indian restaurants. Avoid at all costs, if you want a typical high... More

Working alone in Plymouth I did a search and found this place. Lovely warm welcome by the waitress. And served promptly. Great food loved the paprika chicken starter and naga rezella. Bit on the pricey side for a lad from West Bromwich where there is healthy competition. Poppadom. Starter. Main. Naan and one beer £30. Would visit again after lottery... More

There were 4 of us ladies celebrating a 60th birthday this evening and it was wonderful. The staff were extremely welcoming and very helpful in offering advice about the food. The menu is extensive and the quality faultless. Everything about the food was absolutely fabulous and every dish was truly beautiful both in presentation and taste. I would go as... More

We visited the eastern eye tonight and was exceptionally impressed with not only the food but also the service and knowledge of the staff. As all of us are London based head chefs therefore pleasing the whole group is a near impossible task, yet left all of us delighted. would STRONGLY RECOMMEND above any other venue in Plymouth !!!! Five... More

Recently we haven't be able to visit quite as often as we'd like, so when fortune smiled on our bank account long enough for it stop crying we treated ourselves, as we are want to do, to a big take-away from our favourite restaurant. As always, the food was gorgeous, the staff were friendly (especially the delightful Kalam himself), and... More

This was the 3rd time I have visited this restaurant and I was a little disappointed. We booked but found it wasn't really necessary. We were seated upstairs at a table for two and found the chairs too low for the rather wonky table. Service was slow and in fact we were there for almost an hour before our food... More

It's the third time I have visited here and the food has been good on each occasion. The service is fast, the staff are very friendly and the food is reasonably priced. The décor is a is quite unusual, it's bright with lots of different coloured lights, it makes a nice change. I'll be returning next time I'm in Plymouth.

Visited quite late after a few cheeky beers on the Barbican. Once we were seated, poppadoms and dips arrived promptly and drinks order taken. The menu is extensive, with the usual 'traditional' dishes but also a few of the chefs own signatures. The food was excellent. Well cooked and very flavoursome. I opted for the Chicken Patia Vindaloo. Very spicy... More
