I have frequented this fine restaurant for the past 25 years and the quality and variety is always of the highest standard. Visit and you will not be disappointed.
Four of us went there, on arrival greeted and shown to a smallish booth, nice and clean, drinks and the usual . Great staff and very attentive. Food order taken and they will cook it for you even if not on the menu. Well done. Not rushed at all during the meal which is nice.food in any Indian restaurant will... More
I visited the eastern eye last night on the recommendation of a friend and I can say it was well worth it. The speed and quality of service was excellent with the staff being very friendly. The range of dishes on offer was vast and along with the three others in my party we all thought the quantity and taste... More
This place is a visual blast on the senses. Completely over the top decor. Good food and service. Generous portions, tasty food, well priced. Better than many I have been to in Plymouth. Consistently good.
My wife and I visit the Eastern Eye quite often. We’ve lived in Birmingham and Leicester respectively and have been to more than our fair share of Indian restaurants, but it’s got to the stage where we rarely have Indian anywhere else since nothing is on par with the dishes the Eastern Eye produce. It’s without doubt my favourite Indian... More
Had a takeaway from here and the owner was very friendly whilst I was waiting. Menu is confusing as dishes are split under headings such as "Exotic", "Authentic", "Exclusive" and "Special House" with what appears to be a real mish-mash between them. What I did have was OK but no better than most other curries I've had. Quite pricey for... More
This is probably the best Indian restaurant in Plymouth. I visited here last night for a business meeting and the staff were as always, very friendly and attentive, the food came in a timely fashion, and was to a very high standard. Would recommend this place for any occasion.
Food was nice but we asked for 3 x ciders which were priced at just over £2 each in the menu. We were asked if we wanted Magners which we didn't know was £5 per bottle.
For someone who travels and eats at many different Indian restaurants around the country taking my family to an unknown one is always a gamble. When we walk in pram in tow we often put some restaurants off which adds to my humour. However just as we thought this would be another one of these experiences the staff rallied and... More
We visited this restaurant whilst down in Plymouth to attend a graduation. The whole meal was fantastic with excellent service. The decor is very colourful and fresh looking and liked the booth type tables. Did find the pyrex serving trays rather strange for an indian restaurant but would recommend the eastern eye to anyone who loves indian food
