This is one of the best curry houses in Plymouth, they have authentic curry selection. I am vegetarian so I haven't tried any meat here, the vegetarian food is fresh and hearty. I would recommend this place to anyone who is really into trying authentic curry, if you want to eat the curry you always... read more

We often visit or use eastern eye for a takeaway as it's the best in Plymouth. We have never been disappointed and the food is always fresh and very well presented. If you use them for takeaways they add in extras for free which is always nice. The portions are very generous and four of us struggled to finish our... More

We were both disappointed witch the food and prices here. We were sat upstairs on a small round table with a booth that was not very nice. We felt that £60 for a meal for two was a bit expensive for what we were given. It was very tight on meat in the curry and we found waiting staff rude.... More

We had a lovely meal at the Eastern Eye during a trip to Plymouth. We went there on the recommendation of a taxi driver (who are very rarely wrong!) and were very pleased with the whole experience. The staff were very helpful and advised us on a choice of specials, including the spices involved and how hot they were. The... More

This was a very pleasant experience. Coming from East London, it was going to be a challenge to find good Indian cooking, the sort we were use to. well here we found it. The staff were genuine and were happy to be of service. OK it was a bit more dearer but it was worth it, hence why we have... More

Food was cold and bland it was not freshly made. Expensive and quality was not good. I told malik and he said that I didn't know what good food was. He was rude and arrogant

On the 16th Jan we visited the eastern eye for a leaving party for a colleague. The team at the restaurant were absolutely brilliant. So welcoming and friendly, nothing too much trouble. The manager even popped over for a chat. They made time to talk to us even though it was a very busy Saturday night. And on top of... More

Worst Indian food I have ever tasted. Myself and my partner both had main meals of chicken buna with pilau rice. He had a glass of water and I had a glass of wine. The meal came to £49.95! I Wouldn't mind this ridiculously expensive price if the meal was nice, but it really was awful. The food was cold...they... More
