Newly opened - good first impressions

Good location, with friendly staff. Good 'home style' cooked food. Good value. We would definitely eat there again next time we visit Lynton.

We were looking for a cheap and plain meal and chose sausages and vegetables. The waitress told us that the potatoes had run out but we could have jackets instead. When the bill came we found that we had been charged a total of £9.80 each for 3 very cheap sausages, a spoonful of veg and a jacket potato, not... More

Nice cosy little cafe and people were very nice, but I do think £5 for a pot of tea for two is very overpriced.

My friend and I were checking out the menu when two ladies came out enthusing about the meal they had just had, so that settled the matter! This place is under new and very friendly and efficient management. The menu has enough on it to offer everyone something, and has a few twists on the usual seaside restaurant fare. We... More

My wife and I came in here about 2 years ago and decided to revisit not realising the owners had changed recently. The new people are very friendly and we chose to sit out on the pavement in the sun where you get a lovely view. We had a variety of foods - I had Eggs Royals served on a... More

We visited on a Sunday and had their Sunday roast beef. It was as good as my mum used to make. I had the beef and my wife had the chicken roast. Both were excellent. Followed with the perfect tiramisu desert!! The restaurant was spotlessly clean and the staff were welcoming and friendly. A very pleasant experience.

great roast lunch - just like your mother used to make - with good service and fabulous atmosphere. Place was very busy and would highly recommend this little place on the edge of the village
