A little out of the village so we haven't been there on previous visits. However we gave it a try this time. It proved to be a real find. Fabulous food, friendly staff, great value for money. Will definitely go there again.

Fabulous unpretentious meal with really fresh fish excellently prepared. Friendly staff who looked after us really well. Decor and ambience really nice too. Only open Thursday-Saturday evenings which is a shame. Menu not extensive but well thought out too.

Had the supposedly French fish soup, will not call by proper name. The fish itself really good but the soup base thin and poor. If you are doing simple cooking do it right!!!!

Simple, no frills cooking of excellent fresh locally caught fish. Not unduly expensive and no silly pretensions. Friendly, informal staff.

I loved the wine and the food was cooked well and tasted delicious! We had Chicken as I fancied Lobster but they did not have it. My partner tried scallops for the first time and loved them!

My fiancée and I were celebrating our engagement so my opinion may be slightly biased, but the food and wine was excellent, the service friendly and professional and the atmosphere was very cosy. Be sure to book in advance on a Friday/Saturday as they were full and it wasn't even tourist season yet.

I was taken away for the weekend by my husband for my birthday. We stayed in Lymouth for one night and he had booked this lovely little resturant in advance, when we arrived we were shown to our table which was sprinkled with happy birthday foil confetti, I thought this was a lovely touch and made me feel very welcome.... A very popular venue so book ahead. The food was excellent and well presented. Staff were friendly and service good. There is a good selection on the menu to suit all tastes and needs. We shared a starter, and I had the nut roast as a main which was fantastic. We couldn't manage a sweet, which was a great shame... More

This was my third or fourth visit over the last few years, and it never disappoints. I usually take a good look at the menu and then choose the bouillabaisse but there's often a very good choice of other fish dishes available. As other reviewers have commented, the fish is cooked nicely and well presented. The service and atmosphere is... More
