Went here with a couple of friends. Haven't been to an Indian restaurant in the UK for a while so I had forgotten the urgency to order drinks and poppadoms before having chance to read the menu. Service was brusque. I agree the poppadoms and sauces were good. I opted for one of the specials- Ali baba, and was very... More

Booked a table for 9 people on a saturday night. The restaurant was full and very cramped and noisy. We waited 45 mins before our order was taken and whilst we were waiting for the food we were encouraged to order more and more drinks. When the food arrived the quality was good but the portions very small. We probably... More

Inititial impressions were very good, we were greeted and seated very promptly and offered drinks along with poppodums. Main courses arrived very quickly, it was there that things turned poor. I ordered a Lamb Korma and my partner ordered a Chicken Korma. I counted no more than five pieces of small cut meat in each dish. Korma sauces were tasty... More

Food was average but quantities small and liberal use of bright red dye made everything look similar. Terrible service from surly staff the youngest of whom could not speak english very well at all. Worst problem was the size of the place and the crowding. There are no curtains or soft furnishings, the floor is hard and a whole wall... More

Yes, the premises are small and it's a little cozy (ok, a little cramped) BUT eleven of us were treated to a great combination of wonderful indian dishes, accompaniments and friendly and attentive but unobtrusive service. Prices are very reasonable (£250) for a gut-buster of a meal, with drinks for eleven of us. You can't complain at that. I have... More

It's not a bad Indian resteraunt but it's not the best. It's very small and the food is fairly expensive but is good quality.

my meal here with a friend on a week night was a pleasing experience. the food was delicious. it is not the cheapest in town but then quality does often carry a price. the service was fine and the atmosphere was quiet when we went. this is one of the 2 indian restaurants that i recommend to folks at the... Not particularly cheap but definitely worth every penny spent. The food was great and the service attentive but not pushy. The restaurant is small and can feel a little crowded and noisy but if you relax and let that be part of the experience it soon becomes a fun way to enjoy a meal. Probably wouldn't work on as a...
