Probably the most expensive carvery around, but it is well worth it. You get what you pay for (usually in life).....Lovely setting, way out in the sticks, on the fringe of Exminster, and great for bird watching locally. The carvery is suberb, with a stunning choce of meat and veg. Spacious pub, plenty of room to spread out.....can get very... More

Arrived just as the carvery opened do everything was fresh and hot. Good choice of meats and vegetables. As others have said the decor is a little tired and old fashioned but not a major issue if you know what to expect.

Visited today celebrating a birthday with a large group of family and friends. Great large space in the back for large groups. Having read previous reviews I was very apprehensive about the carvery. The carvery was well presented in a large open space and the staff coped well with our large group. However the food was a disappointment, the beef... More

This is a local to me and my family. A year ago The Swans Nest had gone down hill, serving warmish food, no fresh vegetables on the carvery, unfriendly staff and not many customers. It has changed for the better now with, new friendly staff, great fresh and tasty choice of vegetables on the carvery, a huge range of amazing... More

A large choice of desserts or ice cream at least one desert was glutin free. The Swan's Nest is clean including the toilets and the staff... More

As a family we went for a carvery last Sunday 18th January 2015 and we were welcomed on arrival by a very pleasant Young man who took us to our table. I was especially impressed as I cannot eat Gluten or Dairy which sometimes is very difficult but the young lady behind the carvery counter was able to show me... More

Just popped into The Swans Nest in search of a quick bit of pub grub near to work on Marsh Barton & was really pleasantly surprised. Little things, like decent quality bun for the chicken burger, piping hot, fluffy chips & well cooked meat on the mixed grill add up to fresh pub food that is reasonably priced. Had our... More
