Lovely fresh carvery. Helpful staff and kiddy friendly. My daughter loved it out the back on the swings, whilst we sat and enjoyed our meal, in a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. Worth every penny.

The carvery is amazing for what you pay especially with the massive choice of desserts! Lovely setting and great for all the family with the kids play area out the back. I will definately be coming back!

I've had a Carvery lunch here two Sundays in a row and have enjoyed the meal both times. Plenty of meat, every vegetable one could want and they even serve gluten-free gravy. Yummy meal. The desserts are delicious too; allow ten minutes to choose from the beautiful choice. Pay for Carvery and dessert at the same time; it's cheaper that... More

Visited the Swan nest for a carvery lunch and was not disappointed. The beer is well kept and the food is always fresh, hot and plentiful. The restaurant was very busy however there were still tables available and there was a good choice of meats and vegetables. The desserts looked good but the carvery had beaten us.

I took my party of 4 adults and 4 children for a meal. We had to wait more than 45 minutes for our food and the place didn't appear to be very busy. Perhaps the carvery would have been a better option, unfortunately it didn't look very appetising. Bar staff were very friendly and apologised for the delay. All in... More

Nice old style pub and very large so plenty of choices of where to sit. I went in twice during my two week stay in the area and had the carvery and sweet deal for £13.99. Choice of 4 meats(I had gammon and chicken both times) Was decent and there was a nice choice of veg and extras you'd expect... More
