The pub, although an old traditional one from the outside, was light and modern in the dining room. We had a Sunday lunch here with several adult family members. Although the à la carte looked very good we all opted for a roast meal and between us tried the beef, pork and lamb. All were excellent. Most of us managed... More

We stopped here for lunch on our way home from our holiday today. It was surprising as the inside was a lot more modern then I expected from the outside. The food was excellent. They are child friendly and the children's menu had some different options then you might find in other places. I was glad we decided to stop... More

This place really surprised us. It's such a lovely place. The food was great and really fresh. It is more expensive than your typical pub but this was justified in that it is more of a restaurant than pub, and the quality of the food was very high, better than typical pub grub.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Puffing Billy. The service was great and the food was high quality and very tasty. The tables are well spaced out and the pub has a nice feel to it.

This is a nice place, its a good pub and a good restaurant. The service is fast and friendly, its comfortable spacious and well laid out. The menu is pub standard I suppose but in our group of 4 all were delighted with their meal. Small beer garden at the rear of the pub and tables and chairs out side... More

I passed by here some years ago and stopped for a quick snack and liquid refreshment, was not disappointed and notched it down for a revisit with my wife. That occasion arose today, and we were there for lunch. We chose from the specials board a sharing starter, "fish platter", which contained Brixham crab cake, smoked salmon in an orange... More

After having a lovely meal with my auntie and I upon settling up I paid the bill ..which seemed quite a lot but I didn't have my glasses on me I settled up and gave a decent tip. After arriving home I noticed on the bill there is a surcharge of 20% which is automatically added to your bill which... More
