Great place for a quick lunch, the service and food quality are always good and I have never had any problems. A varied menu to suit all tastes and budgets. Give it a try.

Such friendly staff and atmosphere Just had a Christmas family gathering with 8 adults and 5 under 6 year old children Very accommodating and catered for our every need You will not be disappointed

Absolutely beautiful food! Fave place to eat! Brilliant prices too. Games for children to play. lovely staff.. What ever you order to eat its 100% going to be tasty! breakfasts are so tasty!

We waited so long to be served we had to place our order at the bar. When it arrived it was tough and tasteless - the only taste was garlic and that was overwhelming. Wouldn't recommend.

The proper job breakfast is very good and good value. It is freshly cooked and they use quality food. A pot of tea is on the pricey side at £2.75 especially when you are given only two small sachets of sugar and a minute container of milk. The female staff are always very friendly but the male staff is rude... More

I only stayed at the farmers union and didn't partake of the food. I turned up sopping wet on a cold manday night and asked for a room. I was quicly asnd propmtly signed in and taken to a lovely quiet room with a lush double bed. I fell into a blissful sleep and woke up almost 12 hours later... More

This pub is next door to us. The owners took it on about 2 years ago when we started our business so we have grown together. Both my wife and I had the carvery on Sunday and it was brilliant and such good value for money the staff were very helpful and catered for all our needs

I never ever write a review pointing out bad points but I'm more than disappointed with this stay. We looked at the the clock tower hotel for £2 less with breakfast but gave this a chance as it was over a pub. Staff were brilliant but accommodation, Well below par. Ate here most night in the last week, stayed at a hotel nearby but chose the farmers for my food. Staff very friendly and overall nice beer and nice food..
