We were recommended this restaurant by a past customer, as we were in are area we tried it out. The restaurant service - sloppy, the FOH didn't know his menu. The starters - was like nothing on this planet, by that I mean the colours, tasted bland, and watered down. The mains - cold, vegetarian dish was served with meat... More

Don't know why this place isn't more popular, went 9pm Saturday night and we were the only ones in the restaurant. Since our last visit they have stopped doing the Vegetarian Thali but there is still plenty to choose from. The Dosa's were delicious as was the garlic nan bread. As you can imagine the service was excellent, like having... More

Yes had a lovely meal via Grupon voucher. We could not get through on the phone for some reason so just turned up and the staff were fine with this. This place is a bit special with dishes I haven't seen before, so worth a visit for that reason alone. The Guy who served us was friendly and helpful. Will... More

I ate at this indian restaurant with a Groupon voucher. The best one during my staying in England. The waiter is very kind, the food really high quality (the meat was really tender and tasty). Best quality at this cheap price!

Had been to a business presentation and taken my daughter along too, and it finished late, this was the only decent looking restaurant in the street and it was open till late. Good service, the Kingfisher was fine and the food was very good and reasonably priced. We had meat samosas, really crispy and not oily at all, onion bhaji... More

Reviews seemed very mixed for this place, so thought would give it a try as we had a groupon deal. Sadly, there really are no positives to report. Waiters were flustered and confused. Food was ok but not much meat in the dishes. There were only four tables but it took an hour for our very small starter to arrive.... More

In Exeter on business and didn't want to stay in the hotel to eat so went for a wander. I found Dana Pani and thought I would give it a try. The prices were good but the place lacked atmosphere. When it came to the food it was 'ok' but I'm afraid that's the best I can say. The Kingfisher... More

What a superb find in Exeter - excellent service, very knowledgeable waiter who actually discussed with us what type of dish we would like, he also made suggestions on various regional dishes and how about trying this dish instead - when it arrived i was really take back by the freshness and flavour and amounts, it was 10 out of... the food is cooked to perfection the staff are friendly and the poppadum's and try are defiantly not expensive if you are worried about the price perhaps look at the menu prices before asking for an item? the groupon deal says no takeaway's so it is not the restaurants fault I have come here time and time again it is... The food was expensive- 2 popadums ( with raw onion) cost £4! First they were served to us without any accompaniments. When I asked for chutney, the tray which cost£2 was disappointing. The onion was big pieces of red onion - and that's it- no cucumber or tomato etc. The nan bread was flat and looked shop bought- it certainly... More
