Great community pub

Stayed in a local B&B, we needed an evening meal and was told there was a pub serving food under a mile down the road. Very surprised to hear it was a community pub run by volunteers. Great atmosphere and brilliant real pub food.

Went to the Stoke Canon Inn for a meal last night, steak cooked to perfection and everyone loved their food. We will be making this a regular place to eat from now on. Top marks to the chef!

Nipped down the local pub for tea and had a very enjoyable meal. 2 meals and 2 pints of cider for £20 - BARGAIN. Excellent value, excellent service. Thankyou - nicest fish and chips I have had in a while :)

What a lovely landlord! He entertained the kids & the parents with a game of Frustration. The food was amazing. I had he giant Yorkshire pudding with sausages. I would go back tomorrow if I could! 😃

This is a nice friendly community-run pub. The beer selection has improved recently, and it's good value, but it's a shame that the food isn't better. It seems to be mostly pre-prepared fare with overcooked veg. That said, last time we had a Sunday roast there it was good. It has a nice beer garden so worth a visit on... More

Walking in the area and took a detour for some food and drink. 3 local beers on offer. Only had a baguette to eat, but it was good value and well presented. Staff all friendly. Would certainly visit another time.

Called in for a family meal on Saturday evening, sat in the lovely beer garden. The food was fantastic, lovely quality steak. All five meals were delicious. Despite the fact the kitchen was not open when we arrived the chef was more than happy to cook for us and we will definitely be back. Highly recommended.
