Stopped here for lunch. It was busy, which we thought was a good sign - excellent, friendly service. This place is really authentic. We had a soup and a croque madame, and both were excellent - simple French coming at its best, using great quality ingredients. Priced well. We will definitely return for lunch in the future.

My girlfriend and I visited here as she's got a love for pancakes. We loved every minute of our time visiting here. We were particularly impressed with the friendly and welcoming nature of the staff. Will be visiting again!

I had such a lovely brunch here that I came back the next day! The crepes are very tasty, the service is friendly and quick, and it's a lovely little place with a nice outdoor patio and a pretty view onto the cathedral green. I had "La Canadienne" crepes with Bananas and Strawberries and a hot chocolate - all were... More

A nice little creperie that has expanded to include other hot and cold food. I recently visited with my wife for a lunch. We both had Croques followed by pancakes and enjoyed it all.

If you're after a light lunch cooked and served quickly in Exeter, Gourmandine ticks all the boxes. Lots of choice, from crepes, baguettes and croques through to salads and bigger main courses - and plenty of vegetarian options too. Smiling helpful staff always make a difference, and Gormandine has that too. Thoroughly recommended.

I don't know how many times we have passed Gourmandine and said we will visit one day. Too often. We have been missing out. Gourmandine is so friendly and welcoming. The menu looks good and promises many delights for future enjoyment. How great to have a lovely French Bistrot in the heart of Exeter. We called in today and after... More

I must have walked passed Gourmandine countless times. Today, lookg for a light lunch we gave it a go and it was well worth it. I had a galette filled with smoked salmon and cream cheese, followed by a crepe with apple and toffee sauce. Both were very well filled and full of flavour. My wife had the fish of... More

There were three of us, two of whom had a main course and shared a crepe for dessert and the other having soup and a crepe. It was very good food and although some might find the absence of large quantities of potatoes a problem, it was not an issue for us. The fish was excellent and boeuf bourguinon tender... More
